I was caught shoplifting After that I spent my weeks to trial walking around, listening to Steve's podcast's, preparing myself. Podcast number 8 made all the difference! |

I think about this a lot, actually. I was watching Oprah the day she did her show about The Secret and I got really excited about everything they were talking about. Of course while I was watching, I typed "The Secret" into Google. I think Steve had done a blog post about the DVD and his site came up at the top of my search. I started looking around and was there all evening! In my head I always included him in with my favourite Secret teachers even though he wasn't part of the project and now he actually spends time with them in real life. Pretty nifty! -Lisa Last edited by LisaSparkle; 01-24-2011 at 02:14 AM. |

What brought me in... Google. But what has kept me here and interested is the mix of spirituality and technology, the two worlds I live in most, it seems. I also appreciate the fact that it seems very active.

It was either late 2005 or early 2006, and I was searching for this: "how to make money without a job." And I was directed to Steve's site. The rest is history. I've been a loyal reader since, and a forum member since late 2006.

Google search, and when I started reading the content I was hooked. Steve is a great example of some one who has created success by providing value FIRST. Most people online have it backwards ...

I was surfing the net for relationship topics. I stumbled across Steve's blog and found the information interesting and thought provoking. I stayed for hours reading many of his other topics as well as back tracking to find out who this person was. I loved his knowledge the way he gives no nonsense views on his opinion. I enjoyed reading back to his move to Las Vegas with his wife Erin and all the excitement they must have discovered when making a big life change together. I was really starting to think wow this guy really has it all together, life, love, work. I thought finally a man who has balance. Then I was truly disappointed when I read recent posts about how he and his wife were getting a divorce. It was a great disappointment to see yet another couple ending a life they started out building together and children involved as well. Divorce is something that will forever change a person, children and the ripple effects last a life time. Anyway, regardless of the divorce...I do like your site and plan to continue to find inspiration from the words that I have read and will read. Thank you

I was looking for marketing-related blogs at work, having just been introduced to Google Reader, and someone had him in their blogroll. What's strange is, this was smack-dab in the middle of the Juice Feasting trials. Of every topic ever covered here, juice feasting is about as far from my interests as it gets, both in 2008 and now. Even then, there was something really compelling about those articles. I've been reading ever since. |

I always wanted to boost my self-esteem and I tried to it in 2 ways.Till the age of about 20 I used to achieve success in everything. Then I thought it would be better to learn to accept myself as I am. The first way made me feel like a winner but I got very nervous. The second way made me feel complacent but a loser at the same time. I was confused and didn't know what path to choose. Then I googled this question and, probably, the third line was Steve's article Self-Acceptance vs. Personal Growth Other results from Google were nothing new or special and Only this article gave me all the answers. I've been here since autumn 2006 and I'm still enjoying Steve's blogposts and looking forward to new ones. Don't know any other writer who could clarify this life so well. |

Originally, I was given the link by a friend. I looked at the page, read a few articles, then forgot about it completely. Several years after, I actually remembered the name (so it must have stuck), and I typed into the address bar, and voilá, I was back. I read Steve's Bio, learned he was married to Erin, and that she was a psychic (which was another "electric" moment, because at that phase in my life that was what I was diving back into), so I followed up with her articles, and eventually her forum. From there, I started venturing boldly (*cough*) into the other subforums, and have spent an inordinate amount of time here ever since. |

I hated my job, so i was thinking one day: " I just can’t stand the thought of being stuck in a cubicle the whole day for the rest of my life, begging for the weekend and the holydays to come!, some days i barely see the sunlight... salary isn't proportional to all the income i bring to the company.. and being paid by time instead of results and ability is an insult to my intelligence..." so i wondered if someone hated it as much as i did... and i found the article 10 Reasons You Should Never Get A Job on google a few months ago i finished reading the article and i was like " Steve you had me at You Should Never Get A Job wow!...steve i love your brain since then i can't stop reading his blog every single day |

I think it would be fascinating to see what kind of synchronicity led me to Steve's site. Oftentimes I find that I forget about the little intentions I consciously send out (nevermind the unconcious ones!). When the little stuff manifests, I forget to see the synchronicities that led me to it and assume that I simply stumbled upon the answer. I suspect that what led me to Steve's site would be a topic about manifesting intentions and the Law of Attraction in general. I still feel that How Intentions Manifest is the first article of its kind. I've never read about the exact process that someone observes and experiences when they manifest their intentions, so naturally I was fascinated with Steve's content. |

I was a regular on another forum and I was very unhappy about my study. I didn't know what to do else and thought about quitting. I searched on that forum about what to do and in one thread someone posted a link to "The Courage to Live Consciously" article. I resonated with me altough I was still very far away from living consciously. I bookmarked the article because I liked it so much. After forgetting about it, one day I reread the article from my bookmarks. The ideas had already implanted in my mind so it resonated even more this time and I discovered the rest of the site with a lot of articles. Since then I'm a regular over here and have problably read most of the articles. Took me a lot of time to read the whole archive, but I learned a lot and changed a lot in my life since then. |
