| Unique in the absolute sense.. As in, noone had thought of it before you.. Is it true that what we can think up is limited (or defined) by what we have already experienced, thus made a part of our neural wiring? Or is there possibility of getting "inspiration" from some source that can feed us ideas that are not based on what we have experienced thus far? Do I have to keep reading, doing, experiencing to get to new understandings and new thoughts, or could such revelations happen on their own? How about things that noone has ever written about before? Where do these come from? Is everything just an extrapolation from the previous? Or are there discrete jumps in between? Where do these jumps come from? From a subjective point of view, you cannot experience what you don't know. So, knowing/believing comes first. Well, this is a chicken&egg problem. How did you know before you experienced? How could you have experienced without knowing? My way out of this chicken&egg situation is to believe that there is a root source of all ideas/thoughts/beliefs. Did anyone chase the light back to its source? How did you do it? Maybe it will be revealed on its own, but if you happen to know, please do share. If I figure it out, I'll let you know. |

| The following is a great read. I think it ties in with my question although it isn't a full answer: The Holographic Brain Quote:
