Dude, Steve, I love these things. My brother got a Roomba for Christmas years ago and we had so much fun watching that little thing the first day. We were like kids. His model did very well at picking up cat hair. Speaking of the cats, they liked the Roomba too.

Someone should totally do a 30 day trial with a sex robot. That would be a great blog! Last edited by Daffy Duck; 10-23-2010 at 03:12 AM.

Lots of cool technologies emerge from defense spending, including cell phones and the Internet itself. This very communication we're having is occurring on technology that grew out of DARPA-funded projects.

Cool. AI is one of my favorite subjects and in fact my scifi novel is based on AI and robotics. The robots that are available might seem primitive, but when you look at the state-of-the-art research, it's downright scary. I think very soon we are going to have much more sophisticated machines. My friend's family got one of these when I was in high school. I was so excited about it that I would follow it around joyfully whenever I visited ^.^
