I'm a little confused at the distinction between light and darkworkers. Aren't all the actions we do, based on whatever we think is right, based on what we know and how we percieve the reality around us? From a certain perspective (like subjective reality) I can see lightworker behaviour making more sense. And embracing (IOW, polarizing with) lightworker behaviour, within a SR mindset, would obviously feel more right, and you'd feel a lot more motivated, and passionate. But from another perspective (take solipsism), another set of actions make more sense to do. Acting "lightworker" in a solipsismic reality would feel stupid. And from a million other perspectives, I can see a million bunch of different actions making complete sense from there, too. To sum that up: if you were to look at the world through "x" lens, then "y" behaviour makes complete sense. It's simply a logical progression. Polarizing is simply embracing that "y" completely. That'd feel pretty good, obviously, coz you're doing the best you can Lookin at it like that, light and darkworkers are simply based off your perceptions/lens toward the world around you. There's no right or wrong way to "polarize" because we're all doing whatever we think is right, based off whatever we know. I tend to think that the term light and darkworker doesn't really mean anything... because ultimately, we're all acting based off our intelligence/logic/consciousness. Some people think "lightworking" is better, some think "darkworking", some think "greyworking" and a million in between. Again, it's based off how everyone sees things, are they not all completely right from a certain perspective? (Is there darkworking, or lightworking? I tend to think it's simply "working" Thoughts? |

The lightworker side and the darkworker side are like your two hands some write with their right and some write with their left. If you try writing with both it doesn’t work so well. Weather you write with you left hand or your right, if you get good at it your writing will look nice. Same goes with being a lightworker and being a darkworker the better you get at it the better results you will receive.

Good thinking Holden. You don't need to take polarized path, you just need to take effort. You don't need "polarization" to be passionate and have fire in your eyes, just good enough reasons... Whether it be for yourself, family or betterment of humanity. Quote Steve... "People who haven’t polarized may aim to live a balanced life. But in so doing, they simply get sucked in by distractions, and their lives reflect it. They chose careers that don’t fulfill them and which don’t do much good for the planet either. They live in a very half-assed manner. There’s no fire behind their eyes. They don’t even know why they’re here, so they go through the motions in a confused daze, like a cartoon character who just got bonked on the head. A lightworker or darkworker, however, is an intensely committed individual. They know why they’re here, and they center their lives around what matters. It’s either complete and total service to self or complete and total service to others. They’re both capable of overcoming obstacles that would intimidate a non-polarized person. These people are alive and passionate." That is like saying choose Christianity or Satanism or there is no afterlife. If you don't choose either of those extremes you are a dazed and confused individual. When it comes to this polarization deal all I can say is I smell a product line... You too can become one of the enlightened 1% all you need to do is polarize with my new X kit... |

Personally I'd like to see what stories get published in Chicken Soup for the Darkworker's Soul. | |

peacefulmind I see lightworking and darkworking like a river. It can only flow in one direction. Just because there are light side effects of darkworking and dark side effects of lightworking doesn't mean that you are working with both. Just my opinion. If I make a good business deal for my own personal darkworking needs, it doesn't meant that the person I did the deal with has to get screwed over. Their benefit is just a side effect of me seeking my own goals and needs. |
