See my post under "Hacking Reality: Subjective Objectivity Blog." This is Steves' new direction. This is the path all of the awakened take. He is pulling away from the teacher charactor and moving toward living, and experiencing his life. When awakened people follow this pursuit it is usually with a single other person or alone. Inside of 1 year, this site will not exist, and Steve will not be able to be found. Make no mistake, this is a very good thing. |

Dunno. Never met them........did you? Live by direct experience. Don't have any beliefs. Truth is everlasting. Direct knowing works, and that's it. No second hand info or stories written by second hand, and then interpreted, and re-interpreted until they are unrecognizable from their original form. If there ever was any original form in the first place. I'm not here to debate. I'm simply telling you to see for yourself. Don't take anothers word for anything (including mine.) Live your life by direct experience. Get rid of all of the beliefs, lies, stores by dead people, and the only thing that survives is the truth as YOU see it. I don't think it's possible to predict if someone's going to act a certain way. But I think that your interests can narrow into living the truth. Steve's articles used to be about the objective world, and being productive, but now he's seeing what's underneath all of that and (I think) realizing that most of that stuff doesn't matter in the long run, not if the universe is simply a reflection of your thoughts. Everything else that isn't that realization is just kind of static noise. Not really useful. I don't think Steve would leave 100% as long as he enjoys the process of writing. WHAT he will write about, who knows. But I will give you this--from his comment in the road trip blog about not posting your realizations or asking questions, he is moving away from the teacher role, or at least the guru role. I think you can still be a helpful teacher but it seems maybe he doesn't like the idea of having a "flock of disciples". Last edited by cylon; 09-27-2010 at 08:15 PM. |

I think Steve has always been living his life. Experiencing it?... Uhh yeah! Thats what he Blogged about all this time. Not about Personal Development, His life. His truths. His values. His beliefs. And the development of these things. In that sense it is personal development, but his personal development. His story. I seemed to have lost my point... Anyway, but he has changed. Awakened is such a vague word. Awakened to what? This site will exist in one year. OR will have taken on a new incarnation possibly. Not because Steve needs it, but because it has too much worth to people in general. IMO, Steve is experiencing true creation. He talks about becoming something completely original, something that doesn't have a name.

| It is funny, because you say not to have any beliefs, yet you believe that all awakened people will act in a certain way. I assume you then do not consider yourself awakened. Given your beliefs in subjective reality, how can you ever state something such as this objectively? You have a lot of work to do. |

Interesting theory, but... Quote:
The only way I see this site going down is if the Internet explodes, or Steve passes away from eating too many vegetables.
