Yes, I think focusing on my journey and my choices are more important to me and perhaps to many others.

I don't know - some kind of consciousness transporting, perspective sharing, hologram type thing that zips your consciousness and ghostly likeness all around the world?

Or maybe it's something low-tech (or rather, already out there in some form). 'Onine journaling' did not sound like such a big deal, it was the unharnessed potential in it that Steve tapped into.

One reason "blogging" would have been hard to describe was because it used a medium that wasn't usable/practical before. So let's look at some medium-related concepts that are expanding or will expand in the near future:

-Mobile technology. iPads, iPhones, Kindles, etc. Some people predict that we simply won't be using computers anymore in 10 years.
-Customization. As economies of scale become less important, and businesses gather more and more data, products and advertisements are becoming much more individualized.

Based on these, plus the fact that Steve likes AI, my guess is some sort of portable extra brain-perhaps something that can help you achieve the behaviors you want based on your personal psychology.

My description doesn't really sound awesome enough, but I can imagine something like a personalized second brain being absolutely amazing.

I'm picturing something like the Internet, only *more than* the Internet. Something truly global, that doesn't rely on paltry electronic connections to make it work. I see a spherical grid/web of energy covering the Earth, but it's not just covering... It has the ability to individually reach down and touch a single person, or especially a group of people. It is consciousness that can raise the vibration of the world.

Or, oh wait - maybe that's happening now? {laugh}

Kinda strange seeing everyone's guesses. I will eventually share what it is of course, but now is not the time. Most likely sometime in 2011, but that's really just a guess.

I've never done this before, so I can't predict how long it will take.

It's not about sex, D/s, travel, movies, politics, or social networking. I've blogged about those topics in the past, but as I mentioned in my blog post about this new direction, it involves something I haven't blogged about, nor have I seen anyone mention it here in the forums. So if you read about a certain idea or topic in my blog, that can't be it.

It's a fairly specific plan though, too specific for someone to guess by taking a stab in the dark.

I can say that this is a contribution-based undertaking, one that's intended to affect a lot of people's lives for the better. I believe it has the potential to be significantly more impactful than anything I've done up to this point.

In the meantime it's likely to be business as usual around here, so be patient.
