| I was impressed from Steve's last article "Pavlina Purpose and Values", a company with that purpose and that values is one where I like to work, who wouldn't ? I've switched my job 1,5 years ago right because it was a darkworker company. Unfortunally the situation in the new one isn't much better, except the fact that in this one we work less hours and there aren't safety risks for my coworkers, but also here money is the only value. The bad thing is that the two owners aren't even good darkworkers: no goals, no vision where to get within 5-10 years, daily jumping from one project to the next. So, since I feel more comfortable as a lightworker rather than a darkworker, I'm looking for a new job, but I've noticed that it isn't so easy to find lightworker companies if you exclude the no-profit ones and I'm not still ready to start my own business. So I want to hear from the forum members if there is somebody working in a lightcompany. It would be great if you can share also the company name or at least what the company does. I'm preatty curious about the result of this survey Thanks & ciao alexander

| I've never worked for a lightworking company myself, but I think that Whole Foods is a good example of one. Full insurance benefits for all employees that work 30 hours a week.... the employees don't have to pay a monthly premium... the company covers it all. For a grocery store, decent pay to employees. And a true commitment to improving the world. The CEO of Whole Foods is very committed to Animal Welfare and has proved it in actions as well as words. Logans Roadhouse is another one. A friend of mine works there. Their values are very in line with what Steve has listed, and according to her, they really do practice what they preach. |

| I work for a non-profit that helps people find affordable housing. Decent pay, full benefits for employees who work 30+ hours/week, flexible schedules with the option to work from home where feasible. CEO is concerned with employees' welfare; recent hirees include people in recovery or serving non-violent prison terms, to give them a chance to make a new start. I love my job! |
