This is something I'm finding very creepy and I don't understand it. A few weeks ago, one of my friends was interrupted at his bedroom computer by a bat flying into the room from somewhere unknown. That hadn't happened to him before, and it was disturbing of course. A day or two later, a girlfriend and I went to a little museum and in the basement, stuck between two windows was a dead bat. That seemed like one of those typical 'syncs' to me. However . . . last week my cat brought a bat into the house from the deck, and that's been upsetting to me. I decided that was the end of it, that I'd go with the "things happen in threes" and be done with it. Yesterday there was a mouse in the house, and I was tired of all this, and for some reason the phrase "You know I don't find this stuff amusing anymore" came to mind. I was going to post that line on Facebook. As I began, I got curious about the lyrics to "You Can Call Me Al" because I don't know the song real well. I looked up the lyrics and read them. Sure enough, there's a line in there about a bat-faced girl That was creepy enough. But now this morning one of my cousins calls and tells me her dad has lung cancer. It is not the most aggressive of the lung cancers like my mom died of, and it has not spread, so at least there's that. So I'm sitting here this afternoon feeling like all these bats foreshadowed this somehow, and I decided to see. I ran a Google search for 'bat lung cancer,' and sure enough, there's a bunch of hits about British American Tobacco (BAT) and lung cancer. I don't think I'd ever heard of British American Tobacco before. I don't know what to make of this but I don't like it. |

I swear I am not making this up . . . my girlfriend just called to tell me her boyfriend went to church yesterday evening, and there was a bat flying around during the service @ ssandra -- I'll look up what James said |

| I don't know. I get a lot of syncs and for a long time, years ago, I kept wondering what it meant. I never did figure anything out -- it never seemed to mean anything, but sometimes a series of events string together very weirdly, like this one. It's always felt like "reflections" to me.
