Thanks for sharing the experience, it was some brave thing, this trial. Made me wonder whether i shouldn't give the subjective reality lens a trial, too, for a change, although my objective reality lens are working so fine for me i'm not sure i'd want to mess with them.

Steve, I had a feeling you were not going to like the inspiration side of this trial as much as the subjective side. Inspiration can take you places you probably thought were good at the time, but turn out to be a waste of time or just not that great. Seeing life as a dream was something you started to cover way back in 2006 and that is when I did an experiment with it. It maybe lasted 2 weeks and weird things started to happen. People would come up to me while I was working and hand me money. I'm trying to reintegrate the dream world back into my reality to see if it will optimize my enjoyment in life.

It's just hard, being brought up in what we were told is an objective universe. Like you, I am constantly reminding myself that I am dreaming, and my reality is starting to shift once again, but slowly. That's fine with me, for now, until I grasp the significance of this subjective reality once again. Steve, it's always good reading your posts. You remind me a lot of myself when you talk about your childhood and your college experiences. I can't help but think you are a part of me.

Steve, that was a really well thought out article and I have to admire the way you stuck it out for 30 days. No way would I have had the stamina to do that- congratulations.

Your views were balanced and made a lot of sense to me. I particuarly liked the way you linked the objective and subjective elements and I think that can help understanding.

Addressing the effects on your business, PD as a whole, and the TLP framework were really appreciated.

Thanks for this blogpost Steve. I love that you make the connection between the inspiration side of this not being so agreeable and how this reflects your prior underlying beliefs... My intuition says that living from inspiration would be the best way to live - if only we could shake off all the worldly limiting beliefs we have acquired since early childhood...

Interesting you wrote on beliefs. I've been thinking about beliefs non-stop for the last 5 days and how without even knowing it I've made my world congruent with some of the deep-seated beliefs I've had about myself.

Hey, Steve

This last post contains some interesting insights, I especially loved the one regarding objective experience not existing at all. It surprised me, I have to admit, that you looked at the world mainly through the objective lens up until you started this 30-day trial. You said that you were diving into subjective reality and law of attraction, and your experiences seem way more congruent with SR, so I assumed you had ruled out objective reality long ago.

Now, it would be interesting to explore from a practical side the three ways of approaching and playing with your beliefs. Completely re-programming some of them would be quite an achievement.

Also, if it's not too personal, why do you refrain yourself from messing with the belief system structures straight away? Do you think that it would be too stressful?

And how would you define 'work' now after having conducted this experiment?

You mentioned that as you focused on a person's scarcity or neediness, more of that would manifest in your world. However, what does this mean for a counselor, or even for someone like Erin who works with a lot of people who are having trouble with some aspect of life? How can they safely help people without manifesting those problems themselves?

That is, if I understood what you were saying properly, which I may not have.

Maybe they both have something in common, they're both trying very hard to transcend the physical world. The physical world aint that bad imo. Maybe it's all about looking for the nuances of how great it actually is instead of trying to transcend it. *Note the quantum observer effect

Somebody posted a link on another thread about the guy who practiced Ho'oponopono on a mental hospital - he only saw the patients to observe the results of his meditations which were basically "I'm sorry. I love you. Pleas forgive me. Thank you". It's here I think:

So for any counsellor or teacher, the interaction with client or pupil is really only about seeing what you are manifesting so that you have feedback to see how well you are doing in "meditative attraction". So I guess if a counsellors general clientele involves helping people move from anger to (the softer) frustration and hopefully further, they would be hoping to attract the experience of most clientele being in, say, frustration and bringing them to optimism or hope... Until you are the counsellor taking the spiritual cream of humanity from "joy" to "ecstatic oneness".. The words are limiting, but the scale is surely infinite.... It call always get better. (-:

Here's my question, and I hope it doesn't spoil the inspiration party, but I'm curious. How do you know what you're acting on is complete inspiration? How do you know it isn't unconscious patterns? That it's not just hormones? Or a forgotten memory being activated by current situations?

How do you know when you are really feeling "divinely inspired?" Isn't that just emotion?

What's the difference between inspiration and intuitive gleanings. Is it the same thing?

As far as the subjective reality experience, I've done the same thing off and on for many years, and it's a blast. Oddly, I had about 3 sleep-time dreams about Steve in the last month as I watched his experiments in this reality.

Awesome post. One of the most honest and insightful posts I have read from Steve. It really shows that during this trial he really challenged and learned more about himself, others, and the world. It feels like his feet are back on the ground again but with a way different perception on Life.

i also recognized a shift in steves perception and thinking in this post and therefore i can't wait for some new projects/ideas/threads.
