Has anyone else experienced a big increase in synchronicites lately? It seems like since Steve's recent 30 day trial started, I've never had so many. Steve, did you reprogram us? In some cases, it's just been 11:11's all over the place, and in other cases it's been really odd things. For example I was reading a heated debate on facebook about the "ground zero mosque" where one friend compared an immature response from another to his daughter sticking her fingers in her ears and saying "La la la la". Then my wife turns on the TV, and there is a little girl saying "la la la" with her fingers in her ears. And this is just one example. This kind of thing has been happening to me all the time. For those of you who are also doing a subjective reality trial, are you experiencing similar things? I haven't really been doing this trial 100%, but instead just put out an intention for the universe to send me evidence that reality is subjective. Then just now, my wife (who is taking a course on qualitative analysis) told me that she was reading articles about a current trend which is pushing away from imperative proof in research, and putting more emphasis on subjective results. We got in a great discussion about subjective reality. This is normally something we don't talk about at all. Or maybe I'm just getting good at using the law of attraction? Anyway, it's late and I'm rambling a bit, but I just wanted to share. Edit: So I finished this post, went to browse facebook - and what do I see?: "[la la la la can't heaaaar youuuu" from a different friend, on a different comment thread - the first one happened a couple of days ago... This is so strange and so cool! Last edited by jayh; 08-22-2010 at 06:28 AM. |

| It's strange, it's cool and sometimes even fascinating. However, the funny thing is that such synchronicities do not lead anywhere. I had periods of my life where such stuff just happened, but I could never managed to somehow influence or control it. In 99% of the cases those coincidences fade without any consequences leaving me wonder what it was.

I too have noticed and continue to notice synchronicities everywhere about everything. Ads on highway billboards, book titles that I notice in book stores, things I hear in movies or videos or in conversations with friends and family etc...

I've noticed them too. But that's really just because I've been looking for them. That was the whole point of this...to shift your focus so that you are looking for them. Not that he actually "reprogrammed" you. LOL Sychronicities are all around you all the time. But now you're looking for them. |

Let's think about this: today there were about 10 000 visitors to this forum, it is guaranteed that about 0.1%-1% (10-100 of them) had some natural coincidences which they now report here as 'synchronicities' while 9900+ other did not have the coincidences and so they do not report them here. What is more indicative of Truth - 100 reports or 9900 of unpublished reports? 9900 reports were not published since there were no any synchronicities, and 10 out of 10 000 were published since people were too excited and wanted to report this RANDOM events. Think about it! I call 'synchronicities' a total BS and inability to judge your life logically, considering all possible events. Disprove me, pleeese!!! One Truth is crying for people misunderstanding that this is all RANDOM! Don't waste your life on spotting synchronicities ('train spotting' anyone?) - DO something yourself! |

| I don't care enough to. Sorry you don't believe in it. I think life is meaningless but I've had countless bizarre personal experiences that have me convinced that we're all connected and nothing's really random. Last edited by Smellyorangutan; 08-31-2010 at 08:24 PM. |

Ever heard of Occam's razor? "the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. The simplest is really referring to the theory with the fewest new assumptions." Why do you make such non-sense assumptions that you have some supernatural powers to somehow influence the sequence of simply random events which occur everyday, throughout the day? P.S.

yes! I actually has an experience myself, it made me realize the illusion of now and forever so many subscribe too. This happened to me last week. I went over my parents house and viewed an image I drew in the basement 17 years ago to the day. Weird. As for 11:11, this is not something does not happen enough. Happens occasionally, but it's not enough for me to consider it a sign or anything. What usually happens with me is lights go out. I am driving on the highway and a light goes out just as I pass it. This happens all the time. |

It's so easy to dismiss synchronicies as mere coincidence. Here, I'll say it: "You notice things when you look out for them". See that was very easy to say. But, when you get heavily into synchronicity and when it happens in your life, then as a rational minded person you realise that the probability of these things being just coincidence is extremely low. I'm a very rationally minded person. I'm confident I can beat anyone at chess in this thread for instance and I notice patterns when I see them. Synchronicities are blatent in your face patterns, you don't even need to work them out. For instance, something that's been happening to me over the past 3 months is whenever I watch a film and it finishes, something directly related to the film will be on TV. This has happened with all the about 28 out of 30 films I've watched over this period. I watched a japanese film loosely based on Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde recently, then as soon as it finished, I switched over to the TV and Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde was on that channel on TV. Or I'd watch a film with an obscure actress in it, then I switch on the TV and on another channel the only other film with her in it is on. Etc. Combine that with a huge amount of other synchronicity and you have someone who realizes that reality is not quite as simple as it may look on the surface. Many of my friends notice synchronicities when they're around me as well. One friend stayed over for a week and during that time he was noticing me-centric synchronicities all over the place. He's a hard-nosed salesman who's not really into any of this stuff and he still noticed them. But you need to be immersed in this from personal experience, otherwise the easiest thing for you to do to maintain your view of the world is to dismiss these things by saying it's just coincidence. This post or any other post shouldn't convince you otherwise. You will have to experience it for yourself, but until you do I would suggest keeping opinions based on inexperience to oneself. |

Even if it's not a synchronicity, it's still fun to think that way.

| I posted here to help you out to add another one to your collection It was a synchronicity for each of us. Wait, I thought we were both part of the same super conscious mind because according to Subjective Reality ................................................ |

yes Steve messed up my life, too. i was going in 6 months from a scientist mind to an intuitive/SR person. synchronities beside few other (under OR view unbelievable) things are normal since then. In my next lucid dream i punch you in the face, you caused me much fear I desist from it, if you manifest me 1000€ injury award anytime soon |

Let me show you that you there were no any mystical 'syncronicities': What are the chances that if you see move X you will later see something, which can be perceived as synchronicity? These chances are almost 100% (no wonder you got 'syncronicities' with "about 28 out of 30 films" ). There is no need to invent any irrational 'syncronicities'. It is easy to see. Let's say in move X there were 10000 words, 10 different actors, 10 places, 10 names, 5 pets, 3 car models, ....., 3 gestures, 2 books, ..., 2 cocktails, ..., 2 items of cloths, ...., 2 font types in titles, ..., 1 handkerchief, ... - you see this list can be endless - but let's say there were 10000 unique identifiable objects. It is almost guaranteed that you will see any 1 of these 10000 objects in any other movie/tv-program if you switch the channel and watch it for some time! Is it clear, or should I generalize and prove this using probability theory and taking into account the number of words in a vocabulary, typical movie script and typical tv-program? The trick with 'syncronicities' is that you do not count probabilities correctly and what you think has very low probability in fact has very high probability, if you take into account an enormous number of all possible things/events which can take part in 'syncronicity'.

If you have thought of this simple rational explanation of 'synchronicities' 'phenomenon' but still believe in it then I've got a bridge to sell you, my dear naïve friend

If I'm watching a film called Hyde where the film is based on Dr. Jekyl and Mr Hyde, and I switch it off and Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde is on TV... that's a synchro. Or if a lead actress has only been in 2 films, one I'm watching and the other is on TV as I switch off the film, then that's a synchronicity. Those are the two examples I used previously. You're just saying that if there was a shoe in a film, which there always is, and then after the film I go to the closet and see my shoes that that's a synchro. The obviousness of the difference in weighting and how you don't immediately see that should be the reason why I no longer reply to anything you say from now on as you are most likely suffering from some kind of mental disability and/or are just a troll. Which is fine, there's places for people like you but an intelligent discussion is not one of them. P.S. No offense if you are actually suffering from a mental disability. If so, tell us and we can adjust our conversation accordingly. Last edited by Lionman; 09-08-2010 at 08:04 PM.
