Default How to get started down the rabbit hole?

Could someone either direct me to a blog or explain a couple of things that would help. I am starting to consciously change my outlook to subjective reality but I don't think I am any where near the "rabbit hole".

I'm not really scared, I'm excited, Since this is my dream I choose to create a character that takes my hand walks me to the rabbit hole and gives me a little nudge if needed.

Personal Development for Smart People - Steve Pavlina would be a good start...

PS: The rabbit hole is inside you, so you really can't be that far removed from it...

Dunno where the rabbit hole is, but remember that our life is not your ego's dream - it's a dream of a higher being that transcends us all. Thinking that our world is your dream and we are just your projections is Solipsism, and Steve warned us against it. Otherwise, good luck!

My journey into the world of subjective reality started immediately after reading Steve's posts about the subjects.

It was really a transformative experience. In the wake of leaving the fundamentalist religion that I grew up with, I've since struggled greatly with finding purpose in the world. Steve's suggestion regarding subjective reality, in itself, was just as powerful an experience as leaving my childhood religion.

It made me realize that I have nothing to lose. Really. As far as I know, I have a limited amount of time on this planet before my existence is over forever. Might as well make the most of it, you know?

The thing that most inspires me to go further into the rabbit hole is the purpose found in this way of thinking. If life's a dream, and we're all the same person (or projections of that person), it becomes really easy to find purpose in literally everything you do. If, like me, you've ever struggled with depression, you'll find that this can be a powerful force for change.

I am completely confused about the difference. I have been searching and searching to try and understand precisely this. I don't see where Steve warned of this at all. And I don't understand it either.

Steve speaks of people being characters in his dream yet now the way I used it, it has brought about ideas of Solipsism. Whats the difference between how I used it and Steve is.
