Lightbulb A better word for fear polarity.

Reading Steves examples of fear polarity, I think the word 'fear' is poorly chosen to describe this energy.

I'd rather call the fear energy 'force energy' or 'power energy'. At least for me this would much better explain how to use this energy: you try to get force, get power. Use force to achieve your goals, to instill fear in others.

At least this is how I read the fear based example of Steve. He was using force to get his money back.

What do you think?

My take is that doesn't apply because on the one hand, you might try to instill fear in others. But on the other hand, you also act from fear that you yourself feel, as seen in his "Polarity and Health" blog entry:

Quote:
Maybe you want to lose weight because it will help you attract a mate. But do you want to attract a mate because you want to express your love with someone on a very deep level (love/outflow)? Or are you mostly afraid of being alone (fear/inflow)?
Quote:
Either you want something because of your desire to express love, or you want it because of your desire to assuage your fears.
So fear based polarity is not only about power over others, at least not as I see it. But you're right, I don't see that wanting to satisfy your own desires stems from fear, so...who knows!
