Default Oneness- become personally responsible for every person you meet

Is this a good description of oneness? Anais Nin said she was like this. I think it's a very good perspective on reality. Is it oneness?

What does this even mean?

And why would you try to be responsible for other people? You can't control their actions.

I'm surprised you don't get this, Curtis.

I think I get it. When All is One, then others are You (or, rather, Who You Are). It's not a matter of action or controlling action (even your own), but rather simply Being, and the realization of Being in Oneness. Such a realization can extend to others' realization.

But as a response to the OP, (as well as to agree with Curtis) I think there's a bit more to it than this. Though we are One in Truth, One in Reality, we are still separate in this illusion of form, through choice. The vast majority of people have yet to make the distinction, and understand that it is by choice, and so, I don't think we, of ourselves, can bear responsibility for them. We may try to wake them up, but it is not by us that they are asleep.

I think oneness is the ability to understand and feel the reality of other people, and feel connected in that way.

But I don't think oneness is about taking personal responsibility for other people and for all their needs. That would be very tiring - emotionally, financially, mentally, physically. And in my view it would be a tad arrogant. How can we know what another person wants or needs?
(Unless they come to us and ask for help)

I'm with Anna..

Somewhat..

I think you are responsible for what you let out in reality.. and taking responsibility for that too helps make it better.. what I mean is.. did I go to the bottom of the ocean and pluck a hole so that oil could spill out?

No

But did I help that idea and that creation form.. for my fellow humans.. Yes

Bashar likes to say reality is a mirror.. or a loa saying is "what you put out is what you get back"

If you put out that every person around you.. must get to know themselves.. must wake up.. must "be happier" then I think you get that reflection back on you.. and for them..

So in that way.. I'm not saying your responsible for everyone.. I'm saying.. put out well being, happiness, abundance and joy and watch it be reflected right back at you!
