Hi Steve, I found the subject of SR very intriguing and decided to give it a try. Well, when I "get it" and succeed in totally immersing myself in it, it feels like I was running on MS-DOS and suddenly switching to Windows 7. There is a sense of joy, aliveness and fearlessness when you view you consciousness as the container of all that is. You love everyone and everything. The experience is quite amazing. My question is... how did you manage to make this your permanent state? For the time being, it works 30-40% of the time for me. I'd really love to make this permanent but don't really know how. I noticed it helps to set a special time and meditate/contemplate on this perspective and the shift seems to happen at those times. Any ideas? Thanks! PS: You also mentioned in your post that you started taking SR into account as a result of reading several books about consciousness. Could you recommend those books or any other material that specifically addresses SR? Last edited by blissfulpeace; 06-21-2010 at 04:57 PM. Reason: additional text |

What gives you the idea that subjective reality is a permanent perspective for Steve? I'm wondering why you would want to limit yourself to ANY one, permanent perspective? Permanently looking through a lens of SR is certainly not the only means in which joy, aliveness, fearlessness, oneness, and love are available to you. |

Have you read Busting Loose from the Money Game yet? It articulates SR in a way I found very helpful and useful. | |

I can tell you about my experience with this. I am in a state of love to joy 24 hours a day. The secret is.... you have to consciously decide you want to love everyone and everything all the time. Ask God to shine his light through you. Expel your inner demons... all of them, and don't submit or consider submitting to them for a second when they come knocking once again. Then you'll receive clarity, and your intuition will strengthen. Always listen to your intuition... it is your true self. As you listen more, it'll get stronger. When it becomes strong enough, you'll know that you can fly. Last edited by siryessir08; 06-24-2010 at 04:15 PM. |

unfortunately, even cutting off your hed and replacing it with your beloved neighbour won t give you the proper perspective - you ll just end up liking baseball instead of football, so not too subjective neither |
