I think this is why most personal development "gurus" end up writing 53 books that all say the same thing. Their students crave, demand something "new" from said gurus. They want to milk the guru to its last drop. There's only so much there is to write about PD. Other than him repeating crap from different angles, you could just accept that he's probably outgrown himself. I suggest he take your crutch away completely by stopping blogging altogether |

I'm just posting here to say something I think bears saying. I don't know if it has already been said before in this thread, but here it goes: Steve has published enough genius content to last a lifetime. The fact that some people don't resonate with his new content is fine. He has written some of the most eye-opening articles I have ever read about reality, spirituality, and many other topics I am interested in. He has opened my eyes and the eyes of many others. He has already done enough, far more than enough. So anything more he does, whether you deem it to be genius-worthy or not, should not matter because he has already given way more than life has asked of him. So maybe it is you who needs to have more genius content, or as Steve so brilliantly said, genius feedback. |

In other words, I think it does indeed matter, at least to the OP (and I think to others who have expressed similar feelings), and it *should*, because it does. The OP, in my opinion, seems to be taking the feedback on his feedback quite graciously. I acknowledge you for that, Aaron.

Thanks, Angela. I don't think Steve's posts these days aren't valuable, however, I love reading his series' more than anything else. Most of Steve's posts this year have been fairly unrelated to one another, but I'd like to see a stream of posts (like Steve did pretty often a few years ago) that dig very, very deep into a topic of interest... I've mentioned my favorites before -- subjective reality, meaning of life, and self-discipline. I don't think it's the specific topics that make me love these articles, but the depth that Steve plunges into them. Of course, I find myself incapable of making a quality suggestion... that's OK, I prefer to be surprised by Steve's posts anyway. |

Looking forward to reading about the travel blogging. Especially because I believe he will bust through any glass ceilings that are currently invisible, in the world of travel. Maybe completely random travel, cross-dressing travel, finding out a way to go to outer space, or 30-day trial of 30 countries (one a day). Who knows? Good luck, Steve. Maybe it'll be the kids' conscious decisions as to whether they will travel or not. That would be interesting to hear. |

If you allow procrastination, won't you eventually go to jail for not paying your bills and taxes etc? Maybe he doesn't mean it in such a literal way though.

What about an article on making really strong friendships between men? I look back on biographies and stories from before 1900 and always wonder what it was like to have a friend that I'd die for or say I loved. You rarely hear of friendships that close these days. |

My bro's from Indonesia are open to this sort of relationship and seeing as the conditioning in me ain't that strong, we can connect like this. Perhaps going to Indonesia would be good for you if you're really dedicated to learning this? Or Spain, as an intermediary step

| The new procrastination post was pretty cool, and it fits into a series a bit. Steve hit on procrastination with "Overcoming procrastination" and "Concious procrastitation," and offers a new kind of perspective (my favorite of the three) with his newest article.

I think you're right, it's double standards really. Is this a new website of yours? (sorry with all the changes recently i haven't kept up with a lot of stuff).

I'm hyper-interested in things like paying your bills, especially how to pay your bills without a job and stuff... Nah, I don't think you could go to jail for not paying bills, you'll likely get kicked out of your apartment that you rented. Or you'll start accumulting debt. All sorts of bad stuff. Hopefully, if the higher intelligence is trying to "nudge" you in a different direction, it will make it easier for you to pay bills.

There's more besides joyrides A little house in the countryside Understand, learn to demand Compromise, sometimes lie... I must say I'm thoroughly enjoying this thread, and I'd like to thank all of you for being such stimulating reflections of the Unity that is One/Me/You/Us. Andrew Gubb, that list seems like a fantastic to-do list for you. I especially want to read "Why Being Annoying Is Actually Quite Awesome Sometimes"... Yes, it is time for the teacher to leave his home land. Get the balance right. |
