Steve, i got your answer. Remember that thread i was asking, did i write in right manner? yes, i wrote it. Go for "i now have...", collect the power of presence, be clear what you want , order it(another form of let it go) and recieve it. Looks like ask and it is given. |

Loved reading the post Steve. One of your originals, keepers, and all-timers. But here's the thing -- life can be seen as a training ground for learning how to manifest. We all get a life to learn, and if we don't learn, we come back to try again. The reason why some people are better than others at manifesting is -- drum roll please -- that's just the way the universe works. Or, perhaps more correctly, that's just the way the universe is. Nothing to get upset about. |

lol squirting people in the eye with water guns. I have a question; Can you be too specific? Im thinking of some new goals, but the more details I add about each one seems to dilute the attention to each. What do you think? |

And why limit yourself to a few items? You could go for a full 10-course meal, too Even if you can't eat it all, just sample everything and stick with the dishes you like best. Then you have a better idea of what to order next time. |

| Your question contains a false assumption I don't subscribe to (i.e. that I must equate beliefs with my identity). So I cannot answer it because it's a nonsensical question to me. Beliefs are lenses. I can pick them up and look through them or put them down and look past them. No need to turn them into my identity either way. Best answer I can give to your question is: When I choose to. |

You mainly have to pay attention the interplay between how you place your orders and how they show up in your life. When something new shows up, think about how you originally ordered it.

Do you have any perspective on the role of sex in productivity? Like, Napoleon Hill talking about transmuting sexual energy, or Mike Tyson's original coach having Mike Tyson abstain from sex during training, or Hypnotica talking about the notion of "saving your seed?" I wanted to know if you had any experience with abstaining from sexual activity in order to see how it effected your behavioral patterns (other than just getting all aggro).

| Quote: Thanks very much for this Steve. Your posts on visualisation and intention-manifestation have had a profoundly positive effect on my life. Rich Edit: Question... in this article you mention "not changing your order." Are you also implying that you should focus on only one manifestation at a time? Because currently I've got about ten on the go, all of which I focus on regularly. To put it more clearly, what's your opinion on manifesting multiple things at once? I would also like it if you wrote some more detailed posts on adding energy to ideas/visualisations. I loved the stuff you've already wrote on it, but any more detail you could add on the subject would be greatly appreciated Last edited by RagsToRiches; 02-22-2010 at 04:25 PM. | |

The problem occurs if you keep changing some part of your order before they bring it to you. Another thing to consider is whether or not the whole meal makes sense. Do the items go together, or will you end up with indigestion?

Loved the post! My question: how do you respond to friends who believe that their desires simply aren't on the menu? They choose to complain about the lack of an item (e.g. I want a job in this field, this income, etc. but I can't do it without this degree, and I don't want to be a student again, ergo I can't have what I want and it sucks, blah.) They neither order something that they do believe is within their power to order, nor take action toward their desires in spite of their negative beliefs. Maybe the answer is that I need to move to another table |

So, Steve, let me see if I got this straight. There are negative consequences if you refuse an "order" even if in the meantime you realize it's not what you want anymore? It's better to "chew" it anyway than refuse it?

The only negative consequence he mentioned is that you'd have to wait a little longer. That's hardly a problem. Except when you always keep changing your mind, because that way you won't experience anything new. At some point you will need to follow through with something.

Also, if you're so indecisive that your order is constantly changing, it suggests you lack experience. So in that case it would be better to let the food arrive, eat it whether you like it or not, and learn from the experience so you can place better orders next time. Your palate will become more refined as you sample more dishes.

Thanks for the reply, PaulV. I understand the reasoning. I was considering those cases when one can place an "order" for the wrong reasons or in a bad state of mind(desire to imitate someone, jealousy etc) and realise it afterwards. Or the desired thing no longer suits your needs. Change of mind is preferable, i think, in one of those cases and I wanted to make sure we are not prisoners of our own imperfect orders |
