Default Subjective Reality and Personal Impact

I only recently joined this community and am just beginning to pour through these discussions threads. I am excited and curious about "Subjective Reality". I don't think I've ever heard the "experience" described that way.

I have indeed stepped over to the other side and beleive in subjective reality, however I am a waffler - is that a word I have not given up parts of "my story" my objective reality that I still beleive defines who I am. I beleive in part that my objective reality isn't so bad, at least more often than not. Yet I continue to be drawn to what lies on the other side, the subjective side. What intrigues me right now is the idea of impact.

We all have some kind of impact on each other, on our environment, on everything. I know its an objective question to ask, what is your impact? Yet I know that my impact is different when I allow subjective reality to define who I am or not. My impact dramatically changes. In particular, and often with little effort, I notice the most striking experiences in my personal relationships. Most notably, I become aware of a deep, intimate connection with the person or people I'm with.

Now this often scares or angers people who are comfortable with Objective reality, they find the experience uncomfortable, annoying or at best confusing. Those who are comfortable with subjective reality love the experience, they feel seen, loved, and often want more.

I should say there is often confusion about these experiences even with people who invite and embrace subjective reality, I know I've been confused plenty of times. To be seen and loved that way is powerful, its like nothing most of us have ever experienced, at least not without the use of drugs.

I'm curious if others have had this experience and if so, what have you discovered about yourself?

Sure waffler is a word! Colloquial doesn't mean invalid. I think others know what you mean, too

I too have crossed over to the other side but still stand at the shore at times, looking back. Not because I want to, just adjusting to this new path.

It started awhile ago with other "contexts" I had combined into a new perspective. But I felt there was still a missing component - I was looking for the ideas to be expanded upon in some way. When I found Steve P.'s writings on subjective reality I knew I'd discovered a larger message. I was so happy!

Yes, it is!

It's my belief that 'other' people may not even know why they like being around you but they can feel your heart - even if they do not know what subjective reality is.

Makes sense and objectively, lol! I'd say, isn't that the truth! I've felt for a long time that people do drugs always because they want to feel better, no matter the details of their drama. I am convinced that the most loving mystics in the world (and incuding people like Ghandi and Ammachi who I feel is a living mystic) had a line into this way of seeing the world and their place in it related to others. They knew and know all kinds of Secrets about life and seem to try their best to demonstrate and teach what they know. How many trust? How many listen? Subjectively, I'm still finding my feet on this.

I don't think you have to give up the things you like or think are not so bad in your "objective" life. It's just that how you perceive these things is what could change.

System pop-up says message is too short to post and to add 10 characters??? Hmmmm......what could that mean subjectively?
