How does being "a man who can attract and keep a high quality woman" relate to a mutual agreement by two people to consciously and lovingly end a long-term romantic relationship (or transform it into something else) for the greater benefit of all involved?

Apples and oranges.

With the recent events concerning you and Erin.. I'm curious as to how you feel about that statement now.

In no way am I bashing your and Erin's decision to separate, I'm just interested from an integrity standpoint. I have great faith that you and Erin are doing the right thing, however I just feel the ad is somewhat misleading.

Looking forward to your videos on Abundance.

This little hold-up's been teaching me a lot of patience. Since I first heard you would post this, I've been thinking, "OMG I want now!" And every time I think like this, whatever I'm waiting for gets held up unnecessarily (including this audio-error). Synchronicties, I guess?

But anyway, I'm sorry for delaying Steve's post, everyone.

For some reason YouTube failed to list one of my videos after I tried 3x to upload it (which took an hour for each attempt). I'm uploading it directly through YouTube this time instead of via iMovie, which seems to be working so far. Still 33 minutes left to go for the upload...

Default We all process experiences differently..

Hmm.. we definitely process major, life altering events in our own, individual way... and our unique way is not necessarily what works for someone else.

Speaking for myself only folks, if I don't take the time to truly dig in and explore how I feel about the event... And experience all my feelings, sad, glad and everything in between; it always comes back to bite me in the butt.

I've had situations where I was glad, happy, relieved, whatever.. and yet still needed to grieve the loss.

JSB:

Dude you're totally missing my point. Unlike many, I'm not against Steve and Erin's decision to separate. If they both feel it's best then who am I to say it's not? Steve (and hopefully Erin) obviously seem to be doing very well and I wish nothing but the best.

I just think it's kind of ironic when Steve says " to attract and KEEP a woman" when in fact he recently split. I never mentioned anything about how the relationship ended, and wasn't bashing him in anyway. It seems as if you're coming straight to his defense when it clearly isn't needed.

This is more so a humorous observation than anything serious.

Relax.

Maybe he should have said "Keep for as long as you want until your preferences change and you meet someone new?"

It's not like he lost anything.

I am actually thinking it's a bit bizarre how interested people are in someone's personal life.

Attracting and keeping just one was too easy. Moving on to bigger challenges.

You've explained my point better than I did. The ability to keep someone doesn't always translate into the desire to keep someone.

I would think it's bizarre too, but I've been following the threads and posting, along with everyone else. I guess I'm interested in the idea of a truly amicable divorce, where the former partners are not only happier, but have genuine love and good wishes for each other, free of resentment or bitterness.

It would be great if more people could do this.
