These concepts may be easier to understand if you look at them from another angle: the emotional output of polarized energy. If you apply highly polarized energy to your intentions, you will experience a strong surge of emotion. But that emotional surge will be totally different depending on your choice of polarity.

If you use the polarity of creation and giving (outflow), you will experience a surge of related emotions such as love, joy, and inspiration.

If you use the polarity of acquisition and receiving (inflow), you will experience a surge of related emotions such as greed, lust, and power.

Further: But as far as the universe is concerned, these polarities are equally acceptable."

Dear Steve, I printed this blog posting in June 2007 and it was not until today that I was ready to digest it. The above gave me mixed feelings because there seems to be a distinct difference between Love-joy-inspiration and greed-lust-power. It does feel like the first polarity is the positive one, yet they are both acceptable you write. Do the poles reverse while flowing? Do we "need" both? I guess for the vacuum cleaner it is best to use the inflow more frequently. So (maybe I should finish reading this blog first!) awareness of both your inflow and outflow is important, letting one dominate for a long time is not a good idea...?
