Talking about this in terms of “bad news” or “bad judgment by business leaders” seems archaic. It’s like describing World War One as “a serious diplomatic concern.”

My opinions on Eben have changed.

I have really loved his recent business products, too. He integrates the personal growth and self development into everything he does.

Did you know he lost 25 lbs. and is into raw foods? He's no raw foodist but his girlfriend (I think) Rose Cole recently interviewed David Wolfe (this I know for a fact). Here's the link to her site: Wellness with Rose - www.wellnesswithrose.com As far as I can tell, she's into raw foods (but not 100%) and superfoods.

I find it fascinating how the best guys at stuff will find each other in the world. My worlds collide. I found Pavlina because I wanted to get into self-development, and that interest was sparked through one of Eben's earlier programs. And from you, Steve, I got into health and nutrition (very deeply). So to see it come full circle...well it's quite profound for me. And I'm only 17.

Very cool.

Eben talks about raw foods in one of the Man Trans bonus DVDs. He explains how he got really sick while doing a previous seminar (that was being taped) and how miserable he was trying to get through it. After that he said he made a commitment to get his health in order and started learned about raw and vegan foods. He said the energy boost and reduction in illness were well worth it.

One of the things that impressed me about him is that he continues to work on his own growth, sharing what he learns along the way.

I haven't viewed the product, but it seems like Dave DeAngelo mainly teaches how not be be needy and always kissing ass, being overly nice to women, and how to be more interesting, and cocky and funny, and realising that being rejected is no big deal. Not doing everything desperately seeking approval.. I think I remember one of his lines was "become selfish so you can be generous"

So if these things will be useful for a gay man improving his relationships, then it probably would be applicable...

Default David D

I first heard of David D after reading the Game. I thought the techniques were very useful for someone in their early twenties as I was. It also brought me into the personal development community and to people like Tony Robbins. I was when I really started working on myself, achieving things and increasing my confidence that results with ladies started to come.

I used to go on a lot of first dates but never make it to second dates.. but at one point a change occured. The girls wanted to see me again, but I did not want to see them. My standards had been raised as I had more confidence and was more certain about the type of person I wanted. After some time I finally met someone who I knew was different. Three years later we got married in Delhi.

Whilst David D isnt the magic bullet it is a step in the right direction for most people as you wouldn't be reading it if you didn't need to. His later work on becoming more of a man is very valuable, but you won't see the instant results so be sure to stick with it.

He talks a bit about his morning routine where as part of his routine he drinks a healthy smoothie in Wake Up Productive - his time management program. Which by the way, is an excellent program. It incorporates a lot of the ideas from the Power of Full Engagement - which is a fine book as well.

Full Circle indeed.

My first post ever in this forum back in 2006 was about the relationship between pick up artistry and personal development (a horse that has been beaten to death a gajillion times since):

Personal Development and Pickup Artists

I remember in days of yore when David DeAngelo just had his "Double Your Dating" PDF with the "cocky & funny" technique as the backbone of his method. When Mystery was unknown. When project hollywood was just a project...

Personal Development, Pickup, Seduction, watchamacallit... the way of life is to strive to become better in everything you can be. It's all the same. It comes together in the end. Enjoy.

Default Seduction and Toastmasters Humorous speech contest

I have ordered the Man transformation 2 days back, not yet received the same but a few free e books like double your dating ,sex secrets and from first date to Bed .

I already have some of his ebooks like Attraction is not a choice.

Mainly because i want to participate in the Toastmasters humorous speech contest on the coming tuesday.

My topic is Men are from Mars Women are from Venus.I will be talking about Polyamory and seduction.

I will tell my story and how my research on Seducing women is helping me in that direction.

I request you to give me some suggestions on how i could improve my speech?

As Steve did a Humorous speech on Polyphasic speech and won, so i think this is not a bad idea to speak about Seduction in a Toastmasters Speech contest.

That depends on your club. There a bunch of clubs in which going into Polyamory wouldn't be a good topic while there other club where it would be fine.

At an area level I certainly wouldn't choose a speech for a humorous contest that would offend some of the people in the room.

This is not at the area level, but at the club level speech contest .

And i do not think that way.At District level speeches,i have seen especially some ladies talking about sexual stuff and winning.

A lady said, i thank you from the heart of my bottom and another one said , eating more is good because it adds fats to your breasts and hips.(Though she did not use the word Breast, but that is what she meant.)

I may not use polyamory , but seduction is what i will talk about.

Playing with mainstream ideas is different than playing with ideas like polyamory that might offend people.

But then you are probably a better judge for what ideas your local toastmasters might find offending.

The Feminism Problem (Part II) | How to Get a Girlfriend

I have not seen Man Transformation, so it may be that certain individuals won't listen to me here.

But, I have a lot of experience in learning from the "pick up community" and a lot from David D also.

After dropping it all, and learning about conscious growth and the ego from Eckhart Thole, I realised that most stuff "out there" being taught is really a mix of the same ego-related stuff.

I went through a long period of conceptualising all of this "dating stuff", and, while it helps to a certain extent, it is ultimatly a dead-end.

It is only when I DROPPED, all of it, and began to look INSIDE at my heart and truth (getting in touch with my power), that I began to truly see change taking place; between me and women and in every social interaction.

I'm not saying DON'T PURCHASE, I'm just saying, it's probably not worth purchasing; the principle is always the same - looking outside...

Let go of the ego, feel the principles of truth, power and love inside, and move forward with your life. The polarity of your masculine essence will drive you NATURALLY. We ARE NATURAL MEN, beyond whatever social conditioning we have been installed with.

The articles at the top are very insightful.

All the best,

Raphael

I see that some of you believe in this and some don't. It's normal, i guess. If you're familiar with NLP but never learned it fully or/and think you can and should improve your relationships - this is really for you. De Angelo's program is not one of those "quick fix" bull*** you can find around. By watching it you can see this man giving all he can to explain his knowledge, and it is around 40 hours, that is not the way you steal money from people.
It will give you NLP exercises that you can use daily, you will get into right mindset and you can see real life examples from people that are just like you and me. BUT !!! If you watch couple of DVD's and find it boring or just want to finish it believing it will fix you if you reach the end of program - SEND IT BACK ! You have to enjoy watching it because of itself and not because of you wanting to do something with it. It will do good for you, IMHO.

There's the rub for me. I've listened to D'angelo speak (online that is) and he's probably one of the most boring speakers I've heard.

I loved his ebook, "Double your Dating", though. I'm just not impressed with his speaking skills.

If you have the actual file, you can speed up the video or audio. He has really good pronunciation so it works quite well.

Personally, I think he was quite engaging. I just finished Man Trans and I thought it was fantastic. All the speakers were fantastic I thought - some better than others. They all complemented each other well.

I received man transformation today.

It is more about personal development than picking up women.

Most of what he is saying has been said by Steve pavlina.

But what i liked about David D is his passion.

Default The Course Rocks!

I've had a change to "preview" man transformation - and it's totally awesome.

So much so, i'm ordering my own copy.

I've followed a lot of David's stuff, and this is BY FAR his best.

Seriously, i've read a bunch of books on self help over the years, and this takes all the best stuff and condenses it down.

Whats amazing is David's recall. He pulls up so much information on the spot, i'm simply amazed how it does it.

A.

Depends on what you're looking for...

I agree with what you say...

The funny thing is, everything you mentioned above is contained within David D's Man Transformation course. He talks about Tolle. He talks about focussing on your heart, tuning into your emotions, and working on your insides first.

In Man Transformation eben talks about

Passion
Purpose
persistence
Poise

to attract women in your life.

He has also recommended to read about Brad P , Lance Mason,Neil Strauss,Mehow,Rion Williams, Alex Allman ,Rori Raye,Rasputin,Carol Allen, Sean Stephenson ,Lauren fransis ,Doc Amir the top Pick up artists in the world.

He says he belives in Multiple perspectives and no perspective is complete.

Have you tried Lance Mason's DVD's - 60 minutes seduction (Cost is $1200).

It seems to be too good to be true.

Bard P's -Fasion Bible.

I think unless and until we read and check all their products , it is too difficult to understand seduction.

Man Transfomation is only tip of the iceberg.

I think i will have to save around $15k and -3 years of study of the products that Man transformation recommends to master seduction.

Default Is anyone else going through Man Trans?

I've currently finished DVD #9 (gravity, passion, etc.) which I thought was the strongest so far. Overall the material looks worthwhile but I agree David's speaking can be a bit slow and monotone.

I have finished dvd 8 today, but I´m on a slow pace because of exams and other university stuff.

I really like the program so far and got some important insights from it. I find his talking style to be appropriate, as he gives the audience time to let everything sink in.

Incidentally I found the second half of the program to be stronger than the first half. It gets better as you go along.
