Default October Seminar Title Ideas
I'm looking for a name for the October seminar in Las Vegas.

I brainstormed a bunch of possibilities. So far my favorite is "The Eagle Seminar." I like that one because it's a metaphor for what the workshop is about, and it connects with the article "Are You a Bear or an Eagle?"

I'd prefer not to use "Personal Development for Smart People" as part of the title because that's the title of my book. There will be overlap between the workshop and the book but enough differences that I wouldn't want to tie them to each other.

Do you have other suggestions?

Hmmmm... maybe we could do something with a trained eagle.

And a couple of bears.

Gandalf had to go on a quest (probably a Bear walk with Steve and Erin) before he was 1337 enough to summon giant eagles.

(If I remember correctly, technically that's not true since think Gandalf summoned eagles before he became 1337, but my fuzzy memory of that part of the movie serves my intention to make a jokey post so I'll pretend that I don't remember.)

Here's my suggestion: The Beagle Seminar. For people who aren't quite bears, but aren't quite eagles.

Snoopy (the beagle who fantasizes about being a pilot) would be a perfect mascot.

I don't think Gandalf is very 1337. I bet he couldn't even turn on a computer. He'd go smacking it with his staff until one of the hobbits showed him the "on" button.

I don't think "The Eagle Seminar" says too much about it unless you already understand what "The Eagle" is about.
