Default 31 flavors and then some

Just a quick curious inquiry into the large color advertisement for Baskin Robbins by google in the sidebar offering a year's worth of free chocolate ice cream. Is this a company that you endorse Steve? I would be surprised to hear that it was to look at your health booklist, several of which I've read. I don't remember the specifics but John Robbins renounced his father's fortune in favor of living and promoting a more healthy lifestyle (I believe Healthy at 100 has the details)
Of course, you can do whatever you please, I'm just curious of your line of thinking on this one. To me it seems possible that a years worth of free chocolate ice cream just might be a death sentence for someone out there.

Wink My thoughts -- I don't think Steve has gone pro-Baskin Robbins just yet

I'll let Steve speak for himself, but from my observations (and I'll let you know that I watch Steve's website closely -- lots to learn!), any products that are endorsed by Steve and the related ads that are displayed on his website have all been labelled as such. More specifically, they have included the following caption somewhere on the ad:

Quote:
(recommended by Steve Pavlina)
So far the recommendation caption has only applied to two types of ads (PhotoReading and Paraliminals, both from Learning Strategies), and while it’s quite possible that the recommendation caption may evolve over time if Steve ends up endorsing other products, I think the ad you came across was in fact a Google Adsense image ad. It’s not rare for Adsense to display full colour image ads, and a quick Google search confirmed that some users have spotted Baskin Robbins advertisements on the Adsense network (source).

I’m sure Steve may like the Adsenes ads for the cash they generate, but to my knowledge, as of this writing, he doesn't actually personally endorse any advertisements shown by Google, even the full colour, attention grabbing, ice-cream promoting ones.
