Dwixi, I think you should clarify this incident by PMing with Steve. Try to be politer, your style is really harsh sometimes. All this case is your current growth lesson. No one could tell you what is right and what is wrong here, but I recommend clarifying it for yourself, finding the answers which are right for you and will work for you.

I don't think there's much point to being Steve's friend on FB anyway. You see, I am Steve's personal savior... so just be my friend on FB instead and through transference it's sort of like being friends with Steve... But not. |

Fortunately I still have 3,991 other Facebook friends who still love and appreciate me.

| I keep wanting to write something witty in response to this, but I'm failing miserably. So instead I'll just write this totally useless, meaningless, empty, redundant, pointless, hollow, redundant comment. That way I can feel a greater sense of importance by increasing my post count to counteract my feelings of inadequacy that result from seeing how much bigger Steve's is than mine.

The only thing that bugged me about him was that he would create a thread asking a relatively intelligent question, get several well thought out responses, then start another thread, without really bothering to respond to the responses he got in his previous thread. But that's the typical self-centerdness of someone who is still a teenager I suppose. Maybe there should be a "thread creation" limit. I'm going to start a thread to discuss it. |

Thanks to you and Daffy anyway. For me most of his posts were funny and entertaining, they made me laugh often. He is like a kid (actually he IS a teenager) and it's amusing how he tells harsh things pretending to be very serious. I remember his answer to me: "The universe tells you to buy SBI? Oh come on, people who sell it tell you that!" (something like that) I admit, he put me back to the ground with his insulting answer (written in capitals, to which I responded - please don't capitalize, it's impolite (LOL)). I recognize some weird parallels. First of all, he reminded me Steve, who likes to insult people with more sophisticated, intelligent and mature manner (he calls it "I awaken people who are sleeping through life." (Just checked the dictionary for "to insult" - I'm not a native English speaker. It gave me quite unpleasant, "dirty" list of synonyms, so I'm not sure if the tone of this word is right in my context. Let it be "to attack" - that's the word I actually mean.) Second, dwixi reminded me a "rock star" part of myself, who likes to pose and craves for attention, whatever it costs. And there were no emos in my late teens, that's must be why I was a goth for a short period of time back then. So, those parallels may be the reason why I feel kind of weird sympathy to that guy, although his posts made me react "WTF!" several times. Last edited by Kazeko; 07-03-2009 at 07:24 AM.

| Many of us liked Dwixi and felt similar. When I saw his offensive posts, I immediately had sympathy and thought, "Poor Dwixi," because I knew he would need to be banned. You just can't go around expressing that the admin of the forum is up to no good and expect to not be banned. To be blunt, that's just disrespectful.

So I just read that the one who asked the question on this thread has been deleted. I think that was ridiculous in my opinion. He seemed worried and I actually wrote out a response to his question. In some respects that was immature. All I want to say is that it seems as if you are very upset about Steve deleting you. He has also come onto this thread and given his opinions regarding it. So, now that you know this just move on and do not worry about it. I think Steve knows by now what your intentions were. I too at times worry when a friend of mine deletes me so I either ask them or I ignore the situation altogether. At times I do the same. It seems as if you had good intentions and you thought that maybe Steve would have known but he didn't care as much as you do and I hope he does now. So whatever it was, just let it go and add someone else. It is true that we love the guy's writing but there are also lots of self development gurus/coach out there. And even though your post was funny, I totally understand why you had felt the way you do. |

Oh, and one more thing to the posters on this thread. He is a teenager but not you so why make a big deal about it. You guys are not 17 years old. I think the kid was taking it too seriously and all you had to do was calm him down. Simple. I think we all know(or most) that the type of people who create drama on threads are a bit different. I also think that he came on the thread because he doesn't know Steve personally and that Steve is a public figure. This is why I don't think he has to personally pm Steve. I mean if hangs out with him then coming on here was wrong on Dwixi's part.
