| Steve's Subjective Reality blog has opened many synchronicities for me... I remembered the Way of the Peaceful Warrior's "unreasonable happiness" message, and thought how much it made sense. There is absolutely no sense in being negative. In fact, aside from indifference, it could be "our" (from a subjective viewpoint) greatest sin. I am always happy. I love the fact that I am, and this consequently makes me more happy! It's a neverending cycle of happiness being supported BY happiness. Isn't that great? How have you found the benefits of happiness? |

| Well lately, I've found it harder to regret things in the past. Sometimes I think back to things I didn't want to happen, and I think, "I wish that hadn't happened.' But then I have to think, "Well, if that hadn't happened, then life wouldn't be going the way it is now, and I rather like life the way it is now." I'm still prone to bouts of unhappiness, but I bounce back alot faster now, and I still maintain an interest in life, making it different than clinical depression. |

| It was rather amusing when I read that line in Way of the Peaceful Warrior. 'Unreasonable happiness' doesn't sound too unreasonable at all Although happiness without reason is perfectly acceptable (who ever said it must be conditional of an external source only?) just plain gratitude for people, possessions and basic needs that are taken for granted in some places is also a valid option. But being unreasonably happy still appears to be the far more quicker way though.
