I sincerely expected you to answer the biggest questions of life which are 'Why are we here on earth and who or what is responsible for that? But instead you just told us what we should do in pursuit for happiness. That is shallow and can never be the purpose of life since whoever or whatever is responsible for our being here, knows why we are here and you cannot pretend to be talking on his/her/its behalf. The three points that you have raised are your personal quests to self-gratification and not the reason for life.

|  The pursuit of happiness is our purpose
Steve Pavlina does post what he believes we can do in the pursuit of happiness, but I don't believe he intends to speak for the universe/nature/God. I do not presume to speak for Mr. Pavlina, but his view may be similar to mine. I believe that the pursuit of happiness is the universe's purpose for each of us. As I wrote in a recent post: [...]a life of happiness and excellence lies in fulfilling functions that we love and that make full use of our virtues. This is the universe’s purpose for each of us.
