actually i think a lot of the puas should try dance and art, to tap into that feeling right brain instead of logical left brain that tries to count everything in a linear sequence.

Hadn't read this blog post til now - I enjoyed it.

I see a lot of gamesmanship going on in the realm of "making connections", and it's never resonated with me. There's nothing more delicious than being able to be mutually authentic with someone, about who you are, what you think, what you feel & want...

Personally, I'm very sensitive and can feel right away whether there is a resonance & a capability for this in the connection. I'm not much of a flirt...in fact, I do flirt, but just for fun when I'm not truly interested or attracted to someone. When I'm truly interested, my sensors are generally out of the "game" zone. At least, that's how I've interpreted it.

And while theoretically I think dating can have its place...in practice, my closest relationships all seem to evolve with the same intense, non-dating heart-to-hearts that Steve describes.
