Does Erin have RDD?

The symptoms for RDD given in steve's article apply to Erin, except that she has even less info about the person whom she's going to give a reading than we do about Steve (she's never even met the person before the reading while we know almost everything about Steve there is) and that she charges for such readings. How does that work out?

Lol. Last I checked Erin wasn't diagnosing people with specious mental disorders. ;)

Some (fraudulent) psychics do something like that though, like telling someone they're being hounded by a demon or that they've been cursed. Then they charge 10x more for the "cure."

True, but the inherent idea is the same, giving insight/information to people about their personal lives whom you've never met in person (in-person readings being an exception) :D

I think it's quite different. RDD is when Steve says something and thousands of people try to say something's wrong with him.

In Erin's case, thousands of people are specifically contacting her for guiding sessions. It's the exact opposite really...

Plus, there's a big difference between logically interpreting something someone wrote about some random topic, and intuitively tuning in to spirit guides to get answers to the questions they asked. I really don't see how this would be similar.

I second what Trezker says.

People specifically asked for Erin's skills. Steve did not specifically as for a "diagnosis" he was just given one, with total disregard on whether he wanted it or not. In Erin's case, people are willingly seeking her out and paying her for her "diagnosis."

It's different. Kind of like you willingly give money to a friend vs some one stealing it right out of your bank account.
