Default Has anyone experienced the same..?

I find that Steve has a way of writing exactly the thing I need to read, when I need to read it. It's like he's got some kind of psychic connection with me. How this could work I have no idea -- he's writing for thousands of people -- maybe there are some sort of ripples that go through the ether that cause people to live in a sort of synchrony which Steve can pick up on (consciously or not) through his guides/general connectedness etc?

Very recently me and a girl have fallen pretty crazily in love. I was just wondering what this stuff about monogamy is really about and how we are going to sort out the "politics" of our relationship, and how not to feel like we are "owning" each other, then for no reason I decide to check out Steve's site and POOF! He's written those three posts on polyamory. Amazing. It really feels like he wrote them just for me. I don't mean that in an ego way, more a "holy crap this is wierd and amazing" way.

This same magic seems to run through the forums too. I get a lot of this feeling like I'm being guided when I read them. Just now I enter the forum and the first thing I am drawn to look at is a thread on birth control with a lot of suggestions on how to do it naturally, another thing I was really concerned about.

Those are just two examples. I've been feeling this for a while but now it's got so wierd (in a good way) I felt I had to write about it. Has anyone else had this experience?

This is a group of people who are on the same or similar 'wavelength'. Our minds are tuned to similar ideas, and streams of thought. The same energies that drew you to this writing and virtual community, is the same energy that is pulsing through it every day.

And, if you put a bunch of eagles together, they will more likely have synchronous thoughts, because they are seeing from the same vantage point (the sun, the clouds, the weather on the mountain, etc) and having similar thoughts about things at the same time, than the rest of the animals below.

Also, when Steve writes from inspiration, he is also channeling a higher source energy, which many people are tuned to from a higher level. So, more likely than not, the things, thoughts, ideas, that are floating around the eagle realm or coming from a higher conscious source energy, will match your own thoughts or inform your life somehow.

Default I have... (experienced the same)

Yes!
I had some "A-ha" moments reading his posts.

Not exactly what i was thinking, but extremely close to... in the same area.

Poly post made me say "A-ha" in a way my wife got upset in the first time, thinking i was harboring the thought for 1-2 weeks now. Was not the case, but i was ~thinking~ (i like to call it "gestalting") about "something" and Steve opened that door. I have to say, I saw it just like an interesting door, not even an option right now.
Still, reading the rest of the post related, i felt a lot of common ground with him (and the family).

As i said, the experience are not exactly the same, but similar. Another one was last year, when he started the raw vegan stuff. I am not even vegetarian, but at that time i was contemplating a no-meat (but eggs and milk related) 60 days trial (done 30 days before). Seeing his post, it gave me the go-ahead signal. It was fun to do it and read about his raw experience (which still seems too extreme for me ... yet)

Definitely. It's almost the odd occurrences with Steve's site that eventually lead me to start believing in intention-manifestation and it's sister concepts (I was a staunch atheist from 10 years old up until about a year ago - I'm now 20). Though I've never directly talked to my own spirit guides, if they exist, I get the feeling they talk to the spirit guides of others - and together they somehow co-ordinate things to happen in a way that best meets the intentions of everyone. That's partially how I think intention-manifestation works.

This also happens a lot to me too. This is why I try not to anger Steve because he very well might write something that will explode my brain. It is possibly the perfect crime.

Yeah it often happens to me too that he writes something I've been thinking about or clearly needed. However, this could be random chance because with say 1,000,000 readers, clearly whenever he writes anything it is going to resonate with someone. Imagine he made a post saying "I dropped my cellphone today and it broke", tons of people would say "yeah that just happened to me". Now think about the people that visit the blog and the fact that they are constantly thinking about self-improvement and spiritual issues, then it's no wonder Steve's posts frequently resonance with them.

Just thought I'd offer that as an alternative "statistical" approach to why it happens. I love it when it happens to me though and I'm quite willing to believe in other explanations too such as it's my reality and I create things in it (such as Steve's posts) at timely intervals ;-)

I think anyone like Steve who works with the intention of helping humanity naturally is guided into talking about something that can help a lot of people at that particular time.

You see this in other popular writers too. I think in a lot of ways Steve responds to our wishes - we struggle with relationships and we wonder if there isn't a better way - those wishes go up into the ether and get sorted out and eventually Steve is guided into addressing them in his own life and blogging about it so we can use him as an example.

In my opinion this is how reality as a whole tends to work. Everything is integrated and it's all about working through our karma.

I get feedback like this very often. On some level I believe I am picking up on other people's intentions.

New article ideas come to me all the time, seemingly out of the blue. I really don't know where the ideas come from, but when they arrive, they tend to be very strong. It's like they come to me as swirling packets of thought energy. If I don't write an article within a few hours after the idea arrives, the thought energy dissipates, and it's much harder to tap into it later.

Interestingly, I pretty much only get this kind of feedback when I write an article based on an idea that arrived spontaneously. If I pull an idea that's been sitting on my "to blog" list for months, people virtually never tell me that the resulting article was a synchronicity for them. But when I write an article based off an idea that just came to me, such synchronicities are so common that I expect them now.

Writing about polyamory, for instance, was spontaneous. A week earlier I had no idea I'd be writing articles on this topic.

As a suggestion though, would you please stop thinking about your current challenges at 3am Pacific time? Please wait at least a couple more hours.

I'm curious if there is anyway of applying this "spontaneous" writing with the principles of SBI!, which, by their very nature, plan out an entire keyword-focused website before one actually starts writing.

How do you write spontaneously when you have to make a plan? Do you spontaneously plan?

I keep my plans flexible to allow for plenty time to act on inspiration.

Oh!!! I can relate to this SO much! I also get ideas out of the blue, along with a strong urge to immediately write an article about them. That's exactly why I hate self-discipline and schedules so much! When, instead of writing, I do what was on my plan, then my inspiration for these ideas vanish and I often end up not writing about them.

I've had this happen a few times as well. It happened a year or so ago like 5 times, and I thought it was pretty cool. It validated some spiritual questions I had about the interconnectedness of all life and that we can transmit thoughts to each other effortlessly. Now I can do it with my family members, too.

Oh I get this too. I've noticed that an issue will show up in my life and then two days later someone whose blog I read blogs about it. I find that a lot with Steve's posts.

I also find I get inspiration and an irresistible urge to write a blog post. Sometimes I get those right before a reading or going to sleep, which is annoying because either I lose the energy of it, or stay up half the night.

Default Busted >.<

Definitely yesterday i was supposed to be sitting down to do college work when i snook off to twitter only to see

@Stevepavlina "Is your current approach actually working?"

My conscious then instantly scolded me and promptly reminded me to close the tab and go back to my work.

I was even going to respond with some "damn you for being right... thanks" but I thought best not argue with my conscious.
