Default Trying polyamory for the sex is like...

Trying polyamory for the sex, is like trying raw-foodism for the notoriety.

That is, partially true, but mostly missing the point.

Similarly, people thinking Steve is going this route for sex, is like thinking he's a raw-foodist to get page-hits.

Just figured that's as apt as I could make my observations of some of the misunderstandings going on in here.

Trying polyamory for the sex, is like trying game development for the programming.
Sure, you get some more interesting situations in programming but there's a lot more to game development than advanced maths and compiler errors.

There's the graphics artists who never understands technical limitations.
There's the designer who never understands technical limitations.
There's the investors who never understands technical limitations.
And so on...

Damn, I'm only listing problematic stuff here... Why would anyone want to be a programmer, I must be a masochist.

Let's try finding the fun.
Teamwork, creative and funny teammates, eye candy, solving problems and a gamer community that worships you like gods...

Yeah, game development is awesome.

Sadly, a couple people actually claim that's the reason I went raw.

Supposedly, anything a blogger does is intended to increase page hits. That's supposed to be the whole point of our existence. When our page hits go down, we feel worthless and contemplate suicide. Page hits are digital self-esteem.

You could always uninstall all analytics software and/or never look at the stats

None of the nay sayers would believe you even if you did that. People would still claim the page hits are the only reason for blogging.
