I recall in a blog or post more than a year ago, that they had already agreed that they can have other lovers if they want to? And, I am surprised that Steve describes being faced with this conundrum for so long, when the natural solution is already quite clear? I also think that set point of consciousness is important, for when you are in the realm of love and joy, to have the freedom and give your partner the freedom to share it with others is natural. Most people in society are not there yet, and although the current societal norms of the structures of rigidity of partners or divorce, is unnatural and sometimes damaging, one day soon the better and more natural relationship structures with primary relationships and flexibility, will become standard for the whole society. The current state is just a symptom of domestication. Openness was already the norm before modern society was developed, and is still the norm in some less modernized societies. Even in modern society now, many couples have multiple partners already, although in secret, and in a way that is not connected to truth and openness. When consciousness is raised, and society accepts what is both natural and in line with truth, then it will become the standard way of living. Last edited by Athena; 01-02-2009 at 12:18 PM. |
