| Hey I am interested in starting my own blog. I am going to be using WordPress for my blog. I went on Wordpress and saw templates but they appear to be only for the blog. Since I'm not an HTML developer, would you reccomend gettting a webpage template and then integrating WordPress into that, or are there any alternatives I am missing, and think I should know about? Thanks Todd |

| What do you mean by "Webpage"? A blog is made up of webpages, some of them referred to as 'posts', and some referred to as 'pages'. You can certainly have a website that uses static webpages, and dynamic Wordpress pages. Just install Wordpress in a subdirectory of the root of the website, and create links from your static pages to the blog pages, and visa versa. Do you really need to have static webpages? I would bet you can probably just use the 'Pages' in Wordpress for your more 'static' content. |
