Default Share your Joy?

For as cathartic as sharing your shame has been, I begin to wonder how sharing your joy brings its own sense of growth and well..probably more joy.

What brings you Joy Steve? It seems for how openly discussed your experiments are, with the last Juice feast in particular we have gotten the brunt of negativity. I've found my favorite moments in your posts have been the profound, or the joyful times. Seeing you make faces with your food during the raw trial. Seeing how happy it made you when your family started to eat raw meals with you. Hearing about the things that bring you joy I find more impacting than hearing about what causes you grief. We hardly get to hear about the wonderful times you have. I'm sure you could tell us more about lessons you learned from toastmasters, disc golf, playing with the kids, doing interviews, all the things in your life that bring you joy. Maybe putting more joy into your life, sharing it etc. is important. You talked about going to the museum with your children, but glazed right over it in the details. Maybe you weren't joyful during the juice feast.. Dunno.

It seems to me we get a lot of what the mission is about, but miss out on the life of Steve. And I think when you start living a mission based life you forget how to play, and playing is a big part of being joyful Its unpleasant to watch you suffer, I'm sure its been hard on all of your readers during this juice feast. We all suffered with you, and I hope you can feel better and tell us when you start to feel better. Sorry..I suppose this could have gone in the pre-made post about the end of your feast.
Just my thoughts.

Looks like shame is more popular than joy and pain more than pleasure.

My joy is from exposing myself to mind expanding ideas, expanding my truth continually until I am prepared to expand my power and love. I am now expanding my love and having an interesting time. The external viewing of this growth might not be positive, but positive growth feels very joyous in spite of results.

Default Joy of Achievement

My joy is from knowing I've pushed myself to accomplish something that was a stretch for me, even if it's just sending an email to someone I feel a bit in awe of.
Using my day productively is a fantastic source of satisfaction when I drop off to sleep. My goal is to eventually feel that every night.

The two most joyful experiences of my life were when my son was born and when I lost a poker hand with a pot worth several hundreds of dollars.
