An organ that assists with detox.

E.g. toxins would be released through the skin.

In other words, scratching your skin and then licking your fingers is a bad idea?

Detox organs are organs that process and throw out the waste products from all biochemical reactions in our body plus the toxic stuff that we ingest by eating crap, breathing dirty air, washing ourselves with chemicals, etc.

As far as I know we have five major detox organs: the kidneys, the intestine, the lung, the liver, and the skin.
