Default What can we do to make Steve's Message board Grow?

My thought process goes something like this.

Steve's site is full of great information and great people > So naturally I want to see as many people as possible on here, sharing and helping one another. It only increases mutual value for all involved.

Obviously we know that standing on the street corner and handing out flyers would be a complete waste of time. What way can we intelligently and efficiently gather more quality people?

Erect statues in honour of Steve. People will flock to the forums to witness his interactions with fellow beans.

Either that or just make every post as conscious as possible, so that other people are inspired and then you're inspired by their inspiration and we're bouncing consciousness around like it's a game of ping pong. Who doesn't love ping pong?

After I read Steve's book a few times and did most of the exercises, I lent it to someone who is more intelligent than myself (in terms of Steve's definition of intelligence, their aggregate truth, love and power), telling her that if she liked the book enough to buy it, to lend it to someone else that she respected or could use the book too.

One of the ideas to increase the quality of this forum: make forums appear more personal by enabling avatars on each post.

I've moderated and participated on enough forums to realize that avatars are a considerable addition to a each end every user's experience.

Avatars are a negative for me. Not a big negative mind you but I prefer pictures of real people which I can find in the user information of those who choose to include a picture there. If the group conscious decides it is good for avatars to be part of the forums and Steve also approves I'll accept the judgement of my peers and continue participating and enjoying the forums and the people as always.

I wondered why Steve hasn't put Avatars on this board. When I think about it though, I think it is a good thing. By not having Avatars, everyone is a blank slate to build their character into. Instead of everyone judging by ones Avatar.
