Steve's blog, audio: Connecting the dots?

OK, I guess I need to make this post here. I have general questions about what I've read in Steve's blog enteries and what I've listened to in the audio section as well. I have really been drawn to the ideas and intentions of Steve's site here which is why I am very willing to give his ideas on personal growth a try. Don't get hung up on symmantics like the way I just used the word "try". I have no questions or self doubt about using Steve's methods with full confidence and effort. I'm just not sure my brain is connecting the dots correctly and fully understanding what is being suggested. So here goes..........

TRUTH AND AWARENESS- After reading and listening to a lot about how to manifest intentions I listened to the Truth and Awareness audio and got slightly confused. It seemed that Steve was saying in this audio to be "realistic" about your situation and not be unrealistically over confident about achieving what you want if you aren't currently facing reality of your situation. Does this contradict all the previous things I listened to and read about going ahead full on without worrying about "how" to accomplish what you want? Does it contradict the need for the "confidence" and "positive thinking" that you must have in your head to manifest what you want? Please help me to understand putting these things together if you can.

If I look at the 'Truth and Awarness' audio and say the 'Placing your order with the universe' audio it confuses me a little. How do I think "realistically" and limit myself to the "reality" of my situation and also "open up" to the universe and let it take it's course to guide me? There is even audio on this site where Steve talks about his 'millionaire' goal and states that he will carry uncomfortable amounts of cash on him to train his mind to be more congruent with having more money. But if you don't have more money then isn't that being dishonest with yourself about your current situation? (This is taking me back to Truth and Awareness here)

Also about manifestation. How is the line being drawn between being patient on seeing the opportunities of manifestation becoming a reality and blindly overlooking the opportunities and missing them when they come your way because your mind is not seeing it and still "waiting"? I have seen both warnings given in this site. Be patient and don't give up before the opportunity comes. But also don't wait and miss the opportunity. AH! I don't want to be 'black and white' things that I read and hear, but often my mind filters things like that. I hope some of this makes sense.

Also, I have to apologize for my grammar. I have always had great grammar and english spelling before. My grammar is becoming worse because I spend a lot of time learning, listening to, reading, writing, practice speaking Korean. My mind is actually thinking Korean at times in the way I put together sentences. Don't ask. I just enjoy learning languages, and Korean is my favorite. It's kind of an obsession at this point. So I have been sacrificing some of my former good grammar and spelling.

Anyway, I think I need some perspective on understanding all the different advice on Steve's site and seeing it all fit together to make full use of the resources.

Articles and podcasts aren't the best medium for showing the underlying structure -- all I can do with them is write about the branches. To get at the roots, I needed to create a longer work.

If you really want to become a millionare, take the steps within your power to become more like a millionare. If you want to be in a postive relationship, take the steps to become more like a person in positive relationships. Career, habits, spirituality, health etc. etc. Become what you intend to become.

Ps. Steve I would very much enjoy seeing a blog post on what you have learned from your computer programming when it comes to personal development. If you could set up the properties of Life in the language of code it would be awesome to view. I'll work on it myself but I hardly recall much java or vb

The progressive training article is used in the book as well, I believe in the chapter on authority. The book is a very good explanation of the "roots" of the articles posted on this site, it should give you exactly what you are looking for.
