I just use the Twitter web page to post updates. I use a utility called Active Words which lets me create keyboard shortcuts for programs, websites, inserting bits of text, etc. So I just type "twit" to open IE with the Twitter page where I can submit an update when I want to. I don't use any special Twitter utility software.

Steve, just fyi, there's a "twitter tools" plugin for wordpress that you might be interested in. Basically, you can show "what you're doing" (twitter updates) in your sidebar. It also lets you update your twitter directly from your sidebar on stevepavlina.com. The update twitter part is only visible to an admin logged in to wordpress.

So I have my own Twitter account and have made over 35 "updates" (posts, tweets--whatever you wish to call them). Unfotunately, unlike everyone else who has a Twitter page, I can't see all of my updates--I only see those on the front page. The "older" link is grey for me and I can't click it (there is no link). How can I make it so that myself and others can view all of my updates and freely browse my history instead of seeing only the first page?

A while ago, twitter has a major database crash. Back in the day For some time already, people can only see the first page of tweets... I think it's because Twitter is big on "being in the now". |

(Seriously though, it seems like a bug because of the inconsistency.) Knowledge of this issue is useful; ways to make it not-there also useful.

Bruce, this is definitely a bug and it looks like the Twitter folks are working on it. Here's the official explanation (found here): Quote:

You might like to know that I also posted the link you shared on a report I made at the Twitter help site. I also credited you. Twitter would do well to use a service better than Get Satisfaction for their support service. It's not bad, but it's needlessly complex in some areas (the main issue I see is a lack of linking "what people want" with interface elements; most PC users would get confused pretty easily by that site. I'm literally trained in figuring out systems--years of quality gaming
