| i can really see how raw food makes sense and i definitely believe steve's reports about how great he feels on it. is it possible though, that it is not suitable for everyone's constitution? certainly other health systems such as chinese medicine and macrobiotics would say so, claiming that those with weak digestive energy cannot process cold or raw food easily. it has also been my experience that raw food has seemed to get "stuck" in my gut, lying there feeling cold and heavy. i just wonder if i was perhaps lacking sufficent knowledge about the subtleties of the raw diet or if indeed one needs strong digestive "chi" to start with (and perhaps to live in a warm climate)...? |

| That's a big can of worms. What i will say is that it seems funny to me that we are the only species on earth that believe that we all need drastically different diets. I don't see people sitting around trying to figure out what a horse needs to eat based on it's body type, blood, type, skull shape, aura, or what have you. It's a horse, it eats grass, they all do. |
