Default Question for Steve

I'm still have LOTS of reading to do to catch up here, so forgive me if this has been addressed somewhere, but nothing turned up in a forum search. I'm curious, since I read that you, Steve, grew up with a rather strictly Catholic family, how have they responded to this site and all of your ideas and developments?

Unless you've just broken all contact with them? I'm just curious what they say about your ideas on finding your life purpose and life after death and all that...

Most of my family lives in L.A., and my brother lives in Tokyo, so we only see each other a few times a year at most. We get along pretty well though. My parents came to visit in February, and one of my sisters is coming to stay with us this weekend.

The most honest answer is that my family probably doesn't know what to make of me. We're rather different people, but there's no bad blood between us.
