Steve, I enjoyed reading about the raw food diet. I'm hooked on the green smoothie, to which I've added a dried fig or two to give it a little more body and crunch. I live in California, and while I don't normally pay attention to the cost of food, I did notice that blueberries cost about $4/300g in the local store. Your typical breakfast meal uses most of that portion, and it got me to thinking about the cost of a raw food diet vs what one may be accustomed to spending. Do you have a rough idea of how the cost of your raw food diet compares to what you were paying for your original cooked food diet? Thanks. |
