Hi Steve, i'm Viviana from Romania,i'm a psychologist and i'm reading your articles for about 2 years because i found them very inspiring, reflective, very well-argumented and organized, practical and a litlle bit... addictive-just hope i'm not a self-help junkie and if so i will assume full responsability for my that and work on it Addictive in the sense that i personally never get bored reading them because i enjoy the fact that all the theoretical concepts exposed in your articles are perceived through your own personal experiences of life and have that ''hard to find'' nowdays common-sense wiseness and open-mindness which are encountered the most in buddhism and other eastern teachings . well, done for the moment with the commendations Now i'd like to receive some feedback from you regarding one more pragmatic issue... Reading one of your posts,i don't remember exactly the topic, you have mentioned you're currently working on a personal development book...i thought i would be a nice idea to have your book published in romanian.Well, i must admit i have no publishing knowledges and i don't know the limits of your contractual terms with the publisher, but if there's a way to extend them i would like to learn and to become the editor of your book in romanian, for 2 reasons: - first, i like to provide people authentic values such as adopting a more conscious and responsable approach to life and the ways they could implement them into the reality - and secondly, speaking about this sort of values, i think your articles are very objectively and openly written, showing both the pro's and con's of addopting a new behavior, the challanges you have to take in order to become the co-creator of your life, so that you can take finally a fully conscious decision of whether to act or not;in short they speak about serious issues in a funny and detached way and it would be nice to see the effects of them on the romanian books market...a market which is in fact saturated by the ordinary self-help books which are very low in argumentation, holistic approach and''marketing from consciousness''terms, exposing merely half-truths and especially just the bright side of them. In the end, i also have a possible suggestion for the name of your book, paraphrasing Jerry's and Esther's Hicks book Law of Attraction ...''Steve Pavlina's teachings''...but nooo, i think i wasn't very well inspired, it sounds a little bit weird, too much of a sectarian thing Thank you and i'm expecting a feedback on the publishing issue...sorry just in case my english is not always accurate enough. |

| Personal Development for Smart People will be published by Hay House, a major self-help publisher. The foreign language rights are in their hands, so whether the book is released in other languages will be up to them. It probably depends on how well the English version sells.
