Default Forum Feedback : Preview post to not require original data

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to give feedback on the forum software itself. If it isn't, please move it as appropriate.

It makes perfect sense that someone shouldn't be allowed to post a new message without any original content, but why require original content for previewing? I often multi-quote and would like to check that I've gotten all the quote tags correct before I start responding, only to hit that error message.

Can that 'feature' be turned off, please?

Thanks.

I also think that this feature doesn't really do much good.
At the moment you need to have 10 orginal character in a post ("abcdefgehij") for example.
That means that the word Bannuked isn't enough (for the non-mods, we write this under a Reported Post when someone reports for example Iphone spam and we have dealt with the problem).

Try it now.

I also lowered the minimum characters per post to 3 instead of 10.

I know it's the wrong thread for this here, but:

Don't you want to change the forum colors, style and layout??

At least the colors?

Just for one week?

I mean, always this blue... every day the same look... don't you get fed up with it too?
