Aww, seems like there's just one problem with this diet. I can't see how to get around it either. No matter how you twist it you still have to eat tons of food...

I'm guessing you wont be satisfied living on this diet. Do you think it would help to ease up on all those restraints you put on it, or does it need a much bigger change?

Do you feel like you've gotten closer to living on a raw diet long term? It doesn't seem like you're being euphoric much, but maybe that comes in the last part of your trial.

What does raw okra taste like? It's kind of slimy when cooked - is it like that raw?

Just interested...

This is what most overweight people complain about isn't it? Not being able to eat all the foods which give them pleasure in great quantities. The raw diet solves at least one part of the equation - eat as much as you like!

The slime comes from it being cooked in water. There's some sort of something in the okra that reacts with water and thickens into the slime. That's why okra is so often used in stew - as a thickening agent. Raw okra is not slimy. It's more crunchy and a bit drier than you expect.

It doesn't look like you gained much from it. Couldn't have known without trying though...

Does it even matter to continue for 9 more days if you are very unlikely to continue? I thought you said giving up isn't a bad thing if you are not getting what you set out for. Probably wouldn't look good on the blog though.
