Hello! This is Day 4 of my experiment with a raw foods diet. I am mostly taking in fruit (I'd say 90-95%), with the rest being some vegetables. What is the most striking to me, however, is the lack of detoxification symptoms. I have read countless stories about the struggles of a raw foods diet, and how amazingly tough it is, but I am finding it ridiculously easy. What gives? But seriously, I am a little worried I am doing something wrong. Maybe I am not detoxifying my body, which is why I have no symptoms. I am not cooking anything! Lots of fruit and green smoothies! When I used to do ketosis diets, I also never experienced any of the ketosis-related symptoms, and found no cravings to carbohydrates. I thought I would miss all the foods that I love to eat, and cook, but I am not. Could I seriously be doing something wrong, or somehow cheating myself? This all seems too easy, so I have myself convinced that I am. Any suggestions/comments/questions will be appreciated! Thanks!

maybe you are just lucky in that your body adapts easily to any sort of change in diet. it doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong.

The most admired detox systems are liquid diet type symptoms such as juice or water fasts. Most engage in you just drinking a certain kind of juice or liquid diet for several days at a time. Throughout this fasting period the only thing you are thought to eat or drink is the juice. A few programs may also allow you to have water and not anything else.

Don't worry, it will come soon enough. You body doesn't always react immediately. I've been 100% raw for more than 2 months and a half and I am still in detox. Weird sleep paterns, weird bowel movement paterns, mood swings, ... I started having strong detox symptoms only 1 month after starting this. In the beginning I thought too that I was doing something wrong. I didn't see any good things nor bad things happening to me. But in time detox appeared and wasn't really fun. I now have the feeling that I'm almost on the bright side and I'm glad about it. One weekend I had a headache that was so bad that I stayed home all weekend sleeping. God luck to you!
