Sorry, I shut down Dexterity Software in 2006, so the games are no longer sold or supported. But I did find this solution to level 9 on my hard drive: Pick up the water bucket below Dweep. Use the water bucket on Dweep and walk down through the laser beam onto the square with the torch. Go diagonally and pick up the mirror and the other torch. Place the mirror 1 square to the left of the laser on the right side of the screen. Walk onto one of the freeze plates near Dweep. Use a torch on Dweep. Walk to the left until you reach the pyramids, then walk up through the laser beam and pick up the four items in the top middle of the screen. Put the mirror 3 squares above the mirror on the bottom of the screen. This will destroy the 3 bombs in the lower left. Use the wrench on the mirror you just placed. Use a water bucket on Dweep and go down, through the laser beam, to the bottom left section of the screen. Pick up the 2 torches and the water bucket down there. Use a water bucket on Dweep and pass back up through the laser beam that you came down through. Use another water bucket on Dweep and pass through the laser beam near the top, stepping directly onto the freeze plate that blocks the pathway to the bomb. Use a torch on Dweep. Pick up the bomb and go back to the freeze plate. Stay on the freeze plate. Place the bomb 1 square to the right and 1 square down from the laser blocking the entrance to the baby Dweeps. It should be 1 square above the mirror. This will destroy the laser and the mirror. Use a torch on Dweep. Step on one of the freeze plates blocking the entrance to the baby Dweeps. Use a torch on Dweep. Walk Dweep safely to the baby Dweeps. You should be able to find hints and solutions for the other levels by going to www.archive.org and looking up dexterity.com there. Navigate to the Dweep page, and you'll find a link to the hints and solutions to all levels there. I originally released this game in June '99. Shareware just never dies. |

| I thought about it, but it didn't seem like a good idea compared to moving forward with new projects. It would take a bit of time to dig up the old tools and modify the game to make it suitable for the public domain. I'm not sure the original tools will even run under Windows Vista.

Also, most programmers run multiple machines and most probably don't even use Vista. Probably still running Windows 2000 Advanced Server for their home machine or something | |

Pretty cool looking game BTW. I once coded a really basic version of Arcanoid in Turbo Pascal and Assembler. I remember working on making it so that it created different angles of bounce depending how close to the edge the ball bounced on the paddle, and I think the last part I was working on was having different types of bricks which needed to be hit more than once before disappearing etc. Ahh..the good'ol days of programming. |

@steve: I hadn't thought of that (making it suitable for public domain). Shame though, they would have made some great Posterity. @paul: Hahaaa.. You forgot about their Hackintosh and all the VMWare images of operating systems dating back to CP/M |

This is a strange target for Dweep hints (after the browser redirect): http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/?game=dweep&src=full Perhaps a note at this URL would be in order? |

Wow, Dexterity.com is an awesome site! Steve, did you write the "copy" for the guarantee? http://web.archive.org/web/200501060.../guarantee.htm Very compelling, and well written. Great job! |
