Other Free Self Development Podcasts and Audio? I love Steve's podcasts and since I recently picked up a Zune player, wanted to add more self development audio to my library. Can someone recommend some sites to download some excellent (free) self development audio? |

On itunes, I've downloaded a bunch of free personal podcasts from Zig Ziglar, Harvey Mackey, and others, but I wouldn't know how to get them without itunes. ps. maybe it's not too late for you to turn your zune player back and get yourself an ipod instead :-p |
HunaTrainer ____________________________________ I've listened to a few of the HunaTrainer.com - Rediscover Ancient Wisdom podcasts (there are many of them), and I quite like them. I favour the format Steve uses in his podcasts because I prefer more of a sharing of ideas then practical exercises that I have to go out and try/practice, but I think if you were interested enough, HunaTrainer would be very useful. Abraham-Hicks ____________________________________ Also, you may want to check out the free introductory Mp3's on the Abraham-Hicks website. You may or may not like it, and I honestly don't like it as much as some of the newer Abraham Hicks stuff, but it's not bad, and you can't beat free. Find it here: Abraham-Hicks Introductory CD Another idea you might like to try is buying a few personal development CDs or DVDs and ripping the audio tracks from them. You'll have to learn how to do this yourself, though (there are many resources that will tell you how to do it online -- just search Google). Recorded articles ____________________________________ Oh, another idea I thought I'd share with you is one I came up with. A while back I was going to use the free text-to-speech program, Sayz Me, to read out personal development-related articles and record that by using the free recording program, Audacity, to record the sound playing on my computer (not the sound from my headphones or speakers, but my actual computer). Suffice to say I don't know how to explain that very well, but you can find a tutorials online. I can't remember where I found mine, but this tutorial gives you the gist of how to record output coming from your computer. You may need to play around a bit to get this to work, but it is do-able. Once you're able to record things from the output on your PC, recording articles read by Sayz Me should be pretty easy. As for other sites... I've got nothing. I'm looking forward to seeing what other people share! As for you buying a Zune... :p |
