Hi Keith, The thing is that my friend is a smart guy and extremely nice, too. I've known him for many years and he doesn't block out other people, he just justifies his own decision as it is the right one despite others' opinions. He's been doing it for years and to everyone. Even when he is approached in regards to this habit of his, he justifies that, too. I think that he is in a point in his life that he has to learn about his faults on his own because he doesn't listen to others in that regard. Those mental blocks are the reasons why I have trouble making money outside my job. I spend a lot of time thinking about what I'm going to do, but I never do it. I always think about the money and especially the fame I want to have, instead of what value I can offer other people that would convince them to hand over their money and adulation. Money without value would give me a feeling of satisfaction, kind of like when I get a really good deal with a coupon, and it would probably leave me with plenty of free time and energy to spend as I please.
