Meeting Steve and Erin in the city was a blast. We had a very good group, and connected with some interesting people.

Frankly, I like my goofy nerds. Come on - Is it so shocking on a PD site women look at guys looking dorky and go, "Oooooh, he's cute!"?

I don't disagree with your statement, but there's something very endearing about it. (Making me laugh ALSO turns me on. Watch out!)

Steve looks a lot better in person. He was a little under the weather that day and I noticed the photos sort of reflect that.

We've got more photos coming soon and a write up. Stand by.

Great account Alex! Thanks for sharing. If anyone else has photos and they aren't going to post them publicly you can send them to me and I'll post them.

I just got in touch with Richad, who was videotaping most of the event, including the Q&A session. I'm waiting on his response as to where he'll be posting the video, and I'll let you guys know here, and an update on my blog post. No worries!

Be forewarned! It is kinda shaky. I don't think I've ever recorded anything for that period of time, much less free-hand.

It's still enjoyable. I hope the QA session is mostly audible. Maybe the software I'm using allows volume modulation

It was more of a Pavlina Festival, actually. Erin and Steve came in on a float. But all the forum participants were there wearing blue and white, stick-on name tags that said, "Hello My Name Is..."

This looked excellent, wish I was there.

Steve, I loved your "Raise Your Standards" post, and also how you go on and on about doing the best you can do. Well, there is no doubt in my mind (for me) the most special, most unique, most weird (you like weird), most "best" scenario would be to see you in person (or in a video) in "flow". You love challenges and although I know being in a state of flow might not look good (not something you care about anyways, if it contributes to humanity significantly) and might take 20 minutes to set up (a worthy, courageous challenge), it would definitely inspire me and many others I believe to get into the state of flow more often.

Anyways, just a heartfelt suggestion, of something I would love, absolutely love to see.
