Default How to Polarize

Hi everyone, first post here, I'd like to ask a question.

It seems to me from all of Steve's posts on polarization that he goes into great detail on the reasons and nature of polarization but he doesn't in fact provide many examples of polarization. The episode about the web hosting company is but one instance; the other posts delve into the whys and whats of polarization but stop short at explaining HOW to Polarize. Can anyone elaborate on how to actually implement polarization in your daily life? A few 'lifehacks' so to speak.

I Feel you have not understood what is Polarization. As you are asking for how to Polarize. As, it is just about asking a question ''are you fundamentally safe here?''

Life is from moment to moment,so once you live your life in the present moment. There will be enough examples .

Polarization

They are two fundamentally different ways of relating to existence. Either you believe you’re fundamentally safe here (love polarization), or you don’t (fear polarization). Those of us who find ourselves living as human beings are still working to address this fundamental question. Once we make that choice and come to terms with it, we begin the next stage of our existence.-Steve Pavlina.

Default Flow

As far as I know, polarization occurs when when you have more intentions of one kind. Intention are either inflow or outlflow. Everything is an intention, and as you polarize, you manifest a life that is increasingly about you (dark) or about others (light).

Since my decision 6 months back, all my major intention have been inflow. I was, and still am, busy GETTING.

I noticed that the stronger my intentions get, the more I polarize (I feel better), and this makes that I don't care what I miss.

I have become a better person. I still have good relations, in fact they get better everyday.

So that's how it works.

Default Examples

Examples of polarization:

I believe I am not fundamentally safe. I have one life to make things happen.

Therefore I intent:

A good education and a strong mind.
Cultivated relations with selected company.
A strong and beautiful body.
Enlightenment in THIS lifetime (One life, remember?)

Also:
A good apartment
A high traffic website
A car
Clients

All for my enjoyment

It is attractive and to my mind, and dangerous to think ok fear or love - leeme just ramp one up to the hilt and get her done -

Who is the "I" choosing the effort to be embrace/accept more fear or love?

These are not things that can be 30 day trialed and junked if they are found wanting.

It seems to avoid awareness that

it is by subtly viewing the learning one is doing moment to moment that leads to subtler awareness -

not identifying with embracing emotions.

Also any sensitivity to the great poetry legacies will show that the soul in its higher evolution - goes through subtle dynamics of fear and love -

it is folly to suspect that someone championing get in or out - is in any level qualified to give good advice on these matters.

It is also prudent to remember that the buddhas teachings on subjectivism were not lay teachings and were designed for disciples in his culture.

(I calibrate above 600 on the hawkins scale - not to boast but to help urge extreme caution beofre taking pavilan steves "just try it" ethic seriously.)

I think Tim Ferris, author of 4 hour work week, might be a great example of a dark worker. He values personal time above everything else.

Default levels?

I disagree with the importance of levels in spiritual matters it tend to reinforce a false hierarchy which is in direct opposition to the concept of enlightenment. Regardless of a persons degree of connection or capacity of discipline , I've found that you can learn from every single person that you interact with or encounter on a daily basis, even if it it serves as an example as how you would prefer not to approach life. Polarization is an interesting concept and explanation of how people tend to approach life . I've notice that people with out a developed spiritual practice tend to view life as a "survival" experience , which leads to a competitive approach of fear based reasoning that tends to reinforce the concept of polarization. Or to be more exact it is from the context of your perspective that you view the world and make associations as to the nature of existence. Those dominate beliefs tend to shift your perspective from one degree to another based on how you might be feeling at any particular moment and what you are experiencing. To shift your perspective just "think happy thoughts Peter" and you can fly. Disney was a pretty wise man.

Do you intend on polarizing as a darkworker or as a lightworker?

i'm a bit out of time here so i hope you intend on polarizing as a DW i suggest you read the books "The Prince" by Machiavelli and "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene. Those 2 books really sum it up about how a darkworker deals with the world, which is, caring first about himself and in second place caring about others.

Both books listed above show how a DW will deal with the world and with the day-to-day situations, also as he will deal with other people. I think it's the best way, the most real and down to earth way without being idealistic... but there are people who disagree oh well and i don't feel like arguing with them. Let them believe whatever.
