This is purely for fun, and uses the system for a tabletop roleplaying game I enjoy. The five types of mages (or Paths in the game) are these: Acanthus - free spirits, lucky as all hell, fae-touched, unstable, fickle, and very intuition-based. Mastigos - neurotic psycho-manipulators, testing of others' stability, untrusting, and very often playing devil's advocate. Moros - morose (obviously), obsessed with material things, also obsessed with the finiteness of mortal life, unafraid of death due to their understanding of it, but still wary of it. Obrimos - proud, convinced of their divine connections, fighting the good fight, martyrs for the cause of righteousness, and often rather prone to hubris. Thyrsus - wild, survivalists, connected to the brutal realities of nature, instinctual, and a little unkempt at times from being so often in other worlds. This is totally for fun, but I consider myself an Obrimos usually, if also a bit of an Acanthus and a Mastigos. ~ David

Norwegian brawler - that's hysterical! And just a little frightening. So maybe the matches I get that turn out to be patients from my former job at the psych clinic aren't so scary after all... Oh, and I'm a definite Acanthus. Well, maybe not COMPLETELY unstable and fickle...
