are there any (famous/popular) movies that deal with the topics discussed here? such as, LOC, consciousness, awareness, spirituality, etc. i know there are documentary type movies out there

There's the Secret, which is very popular. Another one many people here like, myself included is "What the Bleep do we know?", which has more "meat" on it. The deluxe DVD has hours of additional interviews that weren't in the movie, with many scientists and philosophers, I would recommend picking that one up.

For some reason, "Local Hero" popped into my mind. I don't know this as a spiritual movie at all, but when I was still drinking, it was my day-after slight hangover movie. Wonder if there's a message in it?

Theres a couple of movies I've seen where the script is obviously about that kind of thing. I dont know the names, but someone might. One is about a US family that trains race horses, owns stables, and is in financial trouble, and the little girl gets and loses, and gets this horse. And amasing things happen.

The other one is about this kid that gets conned by this rip off mail order, athletics trainer who is going broke. The kid doesn't know and believes it all, and amasing things happen. Sorry I don't know the names.

Waking Life brings up a lot of good topics. Main theme is lucid dreaming. And then of course, you got Vanilla Sky.

I don't like The Secret because it sounds "so" commercialized. Oops, I mean IT IS so commercialized. It's just another diet book to me. I'd stick with Napoleon Hill or Carnegie for that topic.
